Her daughter

Dororo, Rin, and Hyakki travelled to the land where the war just happened. Many corpses lay on the battlefield, as Rin prayed for the corpse’s souls, she noticed someone just gave the corpses the prosthetic organs.
“Dororo, Hyakki nii, who is that?” asked Rin
A middle age man, he prayed for the corpse that he gave prosthetic eye. But suddenly, a demon, appeared as half lion and half monkey ready to attack him from behind
“Watch out! Jii-san” Dororo shouted
Before the demon touch him, Hyakki attack it and make it bleed.
“Are u alright, Jii-san?” asked Rin as the came toward that man
“I am alright, thank you”
The man notice Hyakki and his eyes widened
“Hyakkimaru” he said
Hyakkimaru looked at him, the form of his soul. The one who took care of him since he was just a kid. As long as he remembered.
“Hyakkimaru, you’re alive” He touched Hyakki’s face with his forehead
“Jii-san, who are you?” asked Dororo, “Why do u know aniki?”
“It’s a long story. Lets talk inside, I will cook veg coup for u all”
“Inside? Where?” asked Dororo

“Hyakkimaru, you can talk, hear, and see? And you got your limbs back? I am surprised” said Jyukai. They just sit inside the cave that Jyukai used as his home. He cooked the soup for them
“Jii-san, just who you are? You look like already know aniki for such a long time” asked Dororo
“I am the one who found him on the river. Just a skull with muscles. I raised him. What u called me then?”
“Okaa-chan” Hyakki said
“Hahaha… I am not, Hyakkimaru”
“What is your name, Jii-san?” Rin asked
“You don’t need to know my name” Jyukai smiled
“Why?” asked Rin
“There is something that u don’t want to tell people, and just want it to be your secret. You have such a beautiful face, young lady. I wonder you’re from rich family”
“I am just an ordinary girl, Jii-san” said Rin
“And how about you, little boy. Why did you two with Hyakkimaru?”
Dororo and Rin told him their story. How they met each other and how Hyakki regain his body parts
“Oh my God. Hyakkimaru, what did u kill with those blades of yours?” asked Jyukai
“Demon, I will kill all the demon” Hyakki said
“I don’t want you to be like the one you kill”
“I won’t let that happen” Rin said
“I am glad he got a good friends. But as you know, not all of the demon is bad. I ever met one, he just a kind demon”
“Kind demon?” asked Dororo, “Maybe like the one we met before. She fell in love with a human and didn’t kill him.”
“Yes, this demon also fell in love with a woman. He build a village but still hid his identity. He save them from the soldier who want to took their village.”
“Wow, such a kind demon really exist. Aniki, maybe u don’t need to kill al the demon. Just a wicked one.” Said Dororo
Rin’s eyes widened, she think she knows who is this man

Dororo and Hyakki fell asleep, Jyukai still awake, making prosthetic limbs
“Hey, Jii-san” said Rin
“U cannot sleep? what comes to ur mind?” He asked
“Who is the kind demon that u told us before? And what the village’s name?”
Jyukai stopped his word and face Rin
“Why do u want to know?”
“Jii-san, you are Jyukai-san right?”
Jyukai looked at Rin. He just remembered something, her face just look like someone he knew
“You just look like her”
Rin’s tears was falling. She never hope can met her mother’s teacher
“Jii-san. You know my secret right? My father is a demon”
Jyukai nodded.
He told Rin all the things he knew about her father and her mom (What chapter ya? I forget, but I already told u before about that story)
“Jii-san. Please don’t tell Hyakki-nii about this” Rin begged
“I am afraid he has so much grudge against the demon” Jukai said
“I know, I will take care of this. I don’t want him to be like that either. I will keep him in control”

Tomorrow morning, they will leave Jyukai and continue their journey.
“Be careful, Hyakkimaru, Rin, Dororo. I will always pray for you all to be safe and healthy” Jyukai smiled
He hugged those three
“I will miss u, Jii-san” said Rin
“Hyakkimaru, take care of Rin and Dororo”
Hyakki nodded as he place his forehead on Jyukai’s
“hahaha, don’t make this to be a habit of yours”
