The was a hut near there, Tahoumaru carried Rin with bridal style to the hut
“Mutsu, Hyogo. Continue the operation, my big brother must be near here” said Him
“Do we need to bring a doctor?” asked Mutsu
“No need, I will take care of this” said tahoumaru. Hyogo and Mutsu nodded and leave them
“This is not her blood. But why do she fell down from that waterfall, what is big brother doing, he didn’t even take care of her” said Tahoumaru
Its almost dark, but Rin didn’t seem to wake up
Tahoumaru caress her face softly
“Wake up, Rin”

Rin opened her eyes, it was already dark. She felt so farm because of someone she leaned on and hugged her
“Tahoumaru?” Rin’s eyes widened as she saw him
Tahoumaru woke up and give a big smile on his face as he saw Rin already woke up
“What happen? Why are you here?” asked Rin
“I found you collapse on the edge of the river” said Tahoumaru, “Tell me what happen? And where is my brother?” asked him
Rin gazed at her feet, don’t want to tell him the truth, he will think his brother didn’t take care of her, and also she didn’t want to tell him that she collapse because fought a demon
“Your brother is fine, I just… fell, hahaha” Rin lied
“But whose blood in your clothes?” asked Tahoumaru, intimidating
Rin cornered, she cannot lie anymore
“Okay, we fought a demon, I suddenly fell and here I am right now” said Rin
“I am glad that you’re okay” said Tahoumaru
Looking at their position, Rin seem a little embarrassed, why she didn’t feel embarrassed when she just naked in front of Hyakki-nii, sure because she think he is blind. But, she just feel comfortable around Hyakki
“Thankyou for saving me, and… make me warm. I think I will death, fall from such a height” said Rin
Tahoumaru suddenly tightened his hug
“Hey Tahoumaru…”
“Rin, to tell you the truth. All this time, I want you to stay with me. Live in my home, you will be happy, you can wear beautiful clothes, eat warm soup everyday, and you wont be worry about where you will sleep every night” said Tahoumaru, confessed to her
Rin widened her eyes, to hear such a confession, from Hyakki’s brother
“Sorry, Tahoumaru. Happiness for me is not wearing beautiful clothes, eating delicious food everyday, or sleep in warm bed. I just…want to be together with my friend, company Hyakki-nii and Dororo bring me happiness. That’s all I want to do for now”
Tahoumaru seems down
“Okay then. But to tell you the truth, all this time I just thinking about you. I hate my brother, and seeing you with him just make me hate him more”
“I want you two to be happy, being a little and big brother. I don’t want you to fight”
“Do my brother ever told you that he loved you?” asked Tahoumaru suddenly
Rin chuckled, “I think he didn’t know what love is, he just pure and kind, and sometimes can be so violent to demons. But it all to protect us. I know you want to kill him, tahoumaru. I wont let that happen”
“But you see, our land almost fall to crisis”
“Hey, you think it because of the demon? Because your father offered Hyakki nii to demon tome make this Daigo’s land rich? The land become rich, prosperous because of the leader and the society build it together, good leader know what he should do. Did something like your father just make it even worst” said Rin angry
“Rin, sometimes I alsi think what my father did is wrong. But when I see my people starving, begging me to help them. I just cant let them become like that”
Rin clap her hand on Tahoumaru’s face, make his face blushed
“Trust me, killing your brother just make it even worst. Now you should learn, how to make your land rich. You’re strong Tahoumaru, I know you can” said Rin
Tahoumaru touching her hand, “Thank you, Rin. And when that day come, I want you to stay by my side”
Rin just smiled, she didn’t think that day will come. When Hyakki get all of his body parts, maybe she will not around anymore
They fell asleep as they leaned on each other
