Heejin was sleeping soundly on her bed, reminiscing more then dreaming.
"Dad, Can you help me bake cookies for mom and For my brothers? So that they can eat them as soon as they gets home" 8 year old Heejin asked her father
Heejin was a completely different person when she was young; she was always the life of the party, lively, and very caring.
Oh..how things have changed.
"Sure" he said giving her a pained smile and lifting her up so that she could sit on the counter
He knew his wife would come back home today with his eldest sons.
They both finished making the cookies, just in time when Heejin heard the front door open.
Heejin ran with a plate of cookies towards the door to greet her mother and older brothers.
"Mom! Me and dad baked cookies for you and brothers" Heejin said putting the plate of cookies infront of her mother, who was kneeling down to hug the small girl.
"They look good sis" Her brother Taeyong said ruffling her head and grabbing a cookie
"Thank you, Heejin" Her other brother, Myungsoo said grabbing a cookie from the plate
"Mom, are you staying home for forever now?!" Young Heejin asked
Her mother gave her a pained look but forced a smile to appear on Her face while tears fell from her eyes.
"You're going to have to stay with dad a little while longer, me and your brothers are will be away for a bit longer" Her mother said
"B-but you said that last time, and that time you took my brothers with you, Why can't i go with you?! Why can't dad go with us?!" Heejin exclaimed loudly as hot tears rolled down her face and she pushed herself off her mother's arms whilst dropping the plate of cookies on the ground
Heejin's mother looked at Heejin's father to see that he too didn't know how to answer their daughter's questions either.
"You're gonna still see me and your brothers, Heejin; We will always be a family, no matter how far away we are From eachother" Her mother said trying to hug the little girl but she still backed away from her mother's touch
"Just leave" The little girl murmured
"Heejin-" her mother was about to say but The little girl cut her off
"Leave, Leave like you always do" Heejin said with her voice shifting drastically from her regular high pitched voice to a low emotionless voice
Jaemin heard loud sobbing coming from Heejin's room.
The sobbing became even louder and he rushed out of the guest bedroom, and into Heejin's bedroom.
She was crying in her sleep, and he didn't know what to do but just hold her in his arms.
"Shh, it's okay; everything's gonna be okay" He said rocking her back and forth as she layed her head in the crook of his neck, him whispering softly soothing words, calming her down
Once she calmed down and was sleeping soundly, Jaemin tucked her in, and was going up to leave when he felt a hand grab his wrist.
"Stay"
