"I'm about to ruin this whole man's career" Jeno said as he sat down and was about to arm wrestle with Jisung
"You guys are suppose to help set up the tents instead of doing this clownery" Sunni said as she struggled to hold the heavy equipment, Haechan grabbing it from her hand trying to be gentleman but ultimately dropping it on his foot
"Now that's clownery" Chenle said as he sat and sipped with his coffee
"Look at the new guy, isn't he handsome" Sunni said looking over Hyunsuk, who was setting up a tent with Heejin
"Not as handsome like me" Jaemin scoffed as he walked up to them with some fire wood, glaring his eyes at Heejin and Hyunsuk
"Why don't you stop glaring or else you'll get wrinkles" Heejin said as they both walked up to the group
"Alright everyone, I'm going 4 people to help me get the food out of the bus" The Teacher said as Jaemin took advantage and grabbed Heejin's arm and raised it up
"We'll go with you" He said as Heejin snatched her arm away from him
"Alright, but I'll still need two more people, your partners can come and help aswell" The teacher said as Jaemin groaned lowly
"Great, now what are we gonna do?" Jaemin whispered to ana as they all walked the long trail back to the bus
"I have a plan but you'll have to distract the teacher for a second" Ana said as Jaemin nodded and thought of something really quickly
"Mr. Lee! Look I think I've seen a bear over there!" Jaemin exclaimed, pointing at a random direction as the teacher looked confused
"There isn't any bears in Korea, maybe in captivity but not in the wild" Hyunsuk said as The teacher nodded in agreement, Jaemin seeing that Ana had given him a thumbs up
"Ah wait nevermind, I must've been mistaken" Jaemin said chuckling fakily as they proceeded down the trail
"What did you get?" Jaemin whispered as Ana pulled out a set of keys
"Mr. Lee will think he left his keys at the camping site, I'll make sure you and Heejin go get them" Ana said smirking as she handed the keys to Jaemin
10 minutes later, They all arrived at the bus, as the teacher patted his pockets to find them completely empty.
"I think I left the keys at camping site, I'll be right back" The teacher said starting to walk away from the students but Ana stepped in front of him
"You can't just leave us here alone and unsupervised, why don't you send Jaemin and Heejin to get them" Ana said as Heejin was gonna refuse but Jaemin beat her to it
"Yeah, me and Heejin will go get the keys if that's alright with you" The teacher ultimately nodded and sent them away
"You're probably jumping in excitement having to be alone with me" Heejin said as Jaemin shrugged his shoulders
"And you're probably sad that you aren't with Hyunsuk" Jaemin said as Heejin scoffed
"Jealous?"
"Me? Hah, never, why would I be jealous of him?" Jaemin laughed as Heejin smirked and let out a fake sigh
"Thank god, then you wouldn't be upset to know that he asked me out" Heejin said as Jaemin stopped in his tracks as Heejin turned to look back at him, and her smirk dropped seeing the sad look on his face
"And are you going out with him?"
"Maybe, you never know what can happen, and besides, This whole arrangement between me and you isn't going to last for very long" She said as Jaemin scoffed and had a hurt look in his eye
"You say that despite knowing the feelings I have for you, how do you know I'll let you go so easily when you haven't even given me a chance"
Heejin stood there looking at him, not knowing what to say to him as her face felt hot, and Jaemin stepped closer to her.
"How do you just assume I'll let him have you, when I've haven't gotten over you?"
"Jaemin, I-"
"how long will I have to wait until you even change the way you look at me?"
"How long will it take for your stare to not be cold and unwelcoming?"
"When will you let me in?"
"How long will I have to wait for?" Their faces were now inches away from each other
"Give up Jaemin, you'll only get hurt trying"
"Not until you tell me how you feel"
Heejin was afraid, afraid that if she were to tell him what she really felt, he'll never get over her.
To him, her silence was enough.
