"I like you" Heejin said as she smiled brightly up at me, that same smile making my heart jump out of my chest
The way she looked at me was different this time, her stare towards me was warm and affectionate, as if she was welcoming me with open arms, enveloping me with her arms, the heat of her warm body engulfing my senses.
That's how her stare felt like, that's how much it affected me.....that's how much it mattered.
She liked me, and I didn't know how much that would make me feel when she said it, and it's overwhelming, In a good way.
"Jaem-" I pulled her towards me, wrapping my arms around her waist, her body warm against mines as I leaned in and placed my lips onto hers
She kissed back, smiling into the kiss as I held her up by her waist since she was much shorter than I was.
"You're really pretty right now, oh my god" I beamed as I still held her close, my hand resting on her cheek, which was pink from the cold weather
"I like you a lot , Jinnie" I whispered softly and she chuckled, nodding her head knowingly
"Oh my god, thank god that you are alright!" We both heard a voice behind us as we turned to see that it was her family rushing towards her
"What were you thinking?! I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to you" Her dad said pulling her into a hug, Taeyong, and Myungsoo joining in as her mother just stood to the side with a small smile on her face as she looked like she'd been crying
I shouldn't like this woman, not after causing Heejin so much pain, but I didn't hate her for some reason; Part of me felt bad for her, I can see she is trying to fix her relationship with Heejin, and I can see she feels bad, I see guilt.
But all that is up to Heejin to decide, whether or not she wants to forgive her or not.

Heejin pulled away from the group hug, her eyes landing on her mother, who just stood there, looking back at her with watery eyes, and with a sad smile.
"Can I have a moment alone with mom?" Heejin said as her siblings, Jaemin, and her father all nodded, leaving them both alone
"Look, i can't ever forgive you for slapping me, I'll never forgive you for what you did to my father, And I won't forgive you for splitting my family apart" Heejin started after taking a deep breath, and looking at her mother straight in the eye
"I needed you the most, I needed my brothers, but you never made the extra step into actually checking up on me, I know life happens and you're busy, but I'm your daughter and you can't act as if it isn't a big deal, you can't just walk into my life and try to make things right, not after all that happened" Heejin said as her mother had tears running down her face, nodding her head understandably as she listened to her daughter
"I need time, to adjust, because I'm honestly not used to having a mother and I think I didn't want to embrace change, since I was content with what I had now, which wasn't much" Heejin said sighing out, as she smiled a little toward her mother, making her ease up
"I'm willing to forgive you, but not now, We both need time to heal and face our issues if we're ever going to have a relationship again" Heejin said as her mother smiled and nodded
"I'll be at your wedding, and if you come to my graduation, deal? Just stop crying" Heejin said as her mother chuckled and wiped her tears away
"Deal"

"Gahh!, You both need to do some explaining" Sunni gushed as Heejin and Jaemin walked towards the group, whilst holding hands
"Hold me, cause imma pass out" Mark said as he dramatically passed out onto Haechan's arms
"Me and Jaemin are dating, like for real this time" Heejin announced with a blank expression as Jaemin frowned and tugged at her arm
"Say it more happy, Jinnie" He said frowning as he Heejin shot him a look, making him only pinch her cheeks
"You look so cute making that face, babe" He cooed as Heejin pushed him off her, rolling her eyes as her cheeks turned red
"Run me my MONEY!" Renjun said clapping his hand and shoving his Palm in front of jeno's face
"You guys bet money on this?!" Heejin said in disbelief as Jeno nodded sadly and slapped a couple hundred bills in Renjun's hand
"Bet they won't last until graduation?" Renjun said to Jeno, as Heejin slapped the back of his head
"Renjun!"

AHHH, idk of the next chapter is going to be the last chapter but I hope to have a good ending for you all, and HAPPY NEW YEARS! Thank you for all the support you have given me this 2019, this year was the hardest for me but I'm glad that you all gave me strength to keep going!
