Author POV
"What's on your neck?" Myrah asked and gave it a closer glance. "That's my locket. How dare you take it?"
"Yours, it's mine!" Neha snapped and immediately moved away from her.
"I know we are friends but that doesn't mean that you can use my stuff," Myrah said in disbelief.
"I would never use your stuff without your consent and this is mine," Neha argued back.
"I can't believe you would blame it on me. I thought you trusted me," Neha continued to speak. "This is crazy, I really don't know what to say. I kept everyone away from you, and even stayed here just to know you and gain your trust and this is what I get in return."
Myrah sighed. While Neha was blabbering on, she went to her wooden chest of drawers near the bed and pulled the top drawer open. She took out a jewellery box and placed it on her bed and sat down. She opened the box and glanced inside. Her locket was inside.
Myrah felt relieved to see her locket but why did Neha have one like it?
"Neha," She said quietly.
"I am leaving this moment," Neha made a face.
"Wait, you need to see this," Myrah insisted.
"Fine," she huffed. Myrah gently held up her locket so that Neha could see. Neha's eyes widened and she sat down next to Myrah. She took out her locket and placed it with Myrah's one.
