Neha POV
I glanced at Veer in horror. Myrah stood, motionless gazing into Veer's eyes. I took Raj aside and left them staring at each other.
"Did you know anything about this?" I asked Raj.
He looked at me apologetically. "Sorry, I knew but just talk to him."
"I don't want to lose Myrah's trust," I sighed.
"Sorry Babe," Raj apologised. "Veer was begging me to allow him to come with me."
"Veer," I was surprised. "Veer begged."
He was just like my brother, just as stubborn and a player.
"He is in love," Raj murmured. "I know that you know that."
"With Myrah," I nodded. "But she is not ready for starting a new relationship. You know her past."
"I know," Raj said. "But he's changed too. He's gone crazy over her. Just talk to him and Myrah."
"Aren't you supposed to help me?" I gave him a look.
"Fine, I will." Raj laughed and slid his arm around my waist. Myrah gave me a quick glance before she walked away.
"Myrah," I said and followed her. She entered her room, waited for me to come in and closed the door.
"Huh," I was confused. "You aren't mad at me."
"No," she smiled lightly. "I can imagine why you thought that though."
I didn't know how to react so I decided to stay quiet and sat down. Myrah opened her wardrobe and took out a box.
"Look, after losing Ronnie, it became harder for me to live my life the way I used too." Myrah sat down and placed the box on my lap. "Ronnie died protecting me. He always promised that he'll be there for me but he's gone and it's my fault. He saw the car coming and pushed me out of the way. But there wasn't enough time for him to go."
"Myrah, I'm sorry," I said and embraced her. A tear streamed down her face. I gently opened the box. There were many pictures of Myrah and a guy, Ronnie.
