Chapter.4: Little Secret

~ Taehyung ~

'And, what did she respond?' Taehyung asked Jungkook who was texting with you while Taehyung was driving.

'Uhm. She said that she can not wait to see you.' Jungkook shrugged.

Taehyung gave him a sideways look. 'That's it? No emoji's? No, I love you? Nothing?' He asked.

Jungkook nodded.

'Can you ask her if there is something wrong?' Taehyung asked Jungkook with his eyebrows creased.

'Why?' Jungkook asked. 'You're acting like an overprotective boyfriend. She's fine and alive. Probably just tired from work.' Jungkook shrugged again.

'Just ask her Jungkook.' Taehyung demanded.

'Okay, okay fine.' Jungkook rolled with his eyes and sends you another text message.

A few seconds later the phone bleeped, and on the screen appeared a message from you.

'And?' Taehyung asked.

'Just as I told you.' Jungkook said with a smirk on his face. 'She said that there is nothing and that she is a little tired from a long day at work.'

Taehyung let out a sigh. It still didn't feel right to him. But she must be really tired he thought. There is probably nothing to worry about. I'm just overprotective like always.

'Okay, I believe you.' He said to Jungkook. 'But don't look at me like that, will you.'

Jungkook still had that smirk on his face. And he only had that because he knew he was right.
Jungkook wasn't right most of the times, he always made his decisions too quickly. So this must feel really good to him.

'Come on, just say it. Say that I'm right.' Jungkook looked at Taehyung with sparks in his eyes.

Taehyung rolled with his eyes. 'No, I'm not going to say it.'

'Oh really.' Jungkook said. He turned his body to Taehyung and lifted up his arms.

'What are you doing?' Taehyung asked with a side glance at Jungkook. But it already was too late.

Jungkook was tickling Taehyung. Taehyung tried to hold his laughter inside of him, but after five seconds, he already couldn't hold it in anymore.

'Jungkook s-stop.' Taehyung said while laughing. 'I'm driving.'

'I will stop when you say that I was right.' Jungkook said with a big smile on his face.

'Okay, okay, okay. I-I will say it. Just stop t-tickling before we d-die.'

Jungkook stopped and looked at Taehyung with eagerness in his eyes.

'Jungkook, I was wrong. You were right the whole time. I'm sorry.' Taehyung said.

'Yeah, I know.' Jungkook looked back at the phone he held in his hands.

'Seriously.' Taehyung said and started laughing. Jungkook also couldn't hold it in anymore.

The rest of the way to Jungkooks house, they laughed.

A few minutes later, they arrived at Jungkooks house.

Taehyung pulled the car over and stopped in front of the house.

'Thanks for driving me home, Tae.' Jungkook said while unbuckling his seatbelt.

'It's no problem, Kooks.' Taehyung pressed on a button and the locked car door unlocked.

Jungkook opened the car door and stepped out. 'Oh, before I forget it.' Jungkook started.

'What is it?' Taehyung asked.

'Good luck with Y/N.' Jungkook continued. 'Even though I know that there is nothing wrong. I see in your eyes that you're concerned. And don't tell me you're not, because I know you too long for those kinds of things.'

Jungkook looked at Taehyung with a look that said 'I'm right huh' before he closed the door with a little force.

Taehyung shook his head and smiled to himself. He waited until Jungkook stood at the doorstep and opened the front door.

Jungkook turned around and looked at Taehyung through the car. He stood there in the salute position. Taehyung did the same but then in the car. Jungkook gave him a little nod before he turned around and entered his house.

Taehyung lowered his hand back down and placed it on the wheel. He sighed before he started the car again and made his way to his own house and to you.
