Brambleclaw padded up to the highledge slowly with sorrow in his eyes, suddenly Lionblaze snapped back to reality

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the highledge. For a clan meeting!" yowled Brambleclaw, he noticed Dovewing pad up to him with Bumblestripe right behind her. She sat next to him and Lionblaze gave his former apprentice a reassuring lick,

"Cats of Thunderclan we just lost someone dear to all of us"he began"Firststar was a great leader, we shall sit vigil for him tonight, but not just Firestar we shall sit vigil for all those who perished in the battle with the DarkForest" Brambleclaw's words reminded him about Hollyleaf's death, he was too late to save his sisters life.

"But we must not feel bad for we have won the battle against the Darkforest!" yowls of excitement rose from the cats in the clearing, Brambleclaw gave a signal with just tail for silence

"Tonight I shall travel to Moonpool with Jayfeather but before I do all cats with serious injuries go to Jayfeather for treatment, Lionblaze I would like you to lead a patrol to flush our any remaining DarkForest warrios in our territory " he nodded and started scanning the clearing for any healthy cats

"And one last thing Squirrelflight I need you to lead a small hunting patrol the clan still needs to be fed." With those last words Brambleclaw jumped down the highledge and sat next to Firestars body.

Lionblaze padded up to Cinderheart "Hey Cindeheart can you come with me, Brambleclaw ordered me to flush out any remaining Darkforest warriors"

"Sure,is I just us two?"

"No I would like to take a larger patrol especially after after a battle,can you find Ivypool I'll go get Dovewing." Cinderheart nodded and headed towards the clearing. Lionblaze wondered around looking for Dowewing and spotted her talking to Bumblestripe.

"Hey Dovewing can you come with me and Cinderheart to patrol?"

"Yes sure whatever, before we go I wanna tell you something"

"What are y- " Dovewing cut him off

"I'm expecting Bumblestripes kits!"

"What congratulations the clan could use good news."
