Chapter 11: Just In Time

Callie's POV

We are going back home in about an hour, and I'm supposed to meet with Lou. I'm nervous because it's been two years since we talked and she suddenly shows up to my wedding? Once I think about it, she didn't even get invited, so how did she know about it? I'm going to talk to her about it when I meet her. Hopefully, she'll tell me the truth.

Brandon's POV

Callie and I are leaving from our AMAZING honeymoon. The past week has the the best week of my life. I got married to the most beautiful girl in the world, I've gotten lucky quite a bit, and I spent a lot of time at the beach with my wonderful wife. I'm a little worried about Lou being back in Callie's life, but I'm sure it'll all be okay.

We finally made it home and Callie went to meet up with Lou. I tried to talk her into letting me come with her, but she wouldn't budge.

"Moms, I'm going to my therapy session. If she gets back before I do, tell her I went to get you some groceries." I explained.

"Okay." they replied. I grabbed my keys and went to my therapist.

"What's the problem, Brandon?" he asked.

"I don't have one at this point, but I have this feeling in my stomach like something bad is going to happen." I explained.

"Maybe you're having second thoughts about your wife. It might be that you realized you don't love her as much as you thought you did." he said.

"I married the girl of my dreams. I love her more than life itself and you can't tell me that I don't.Cancel our other sessions. I'm done here." I said walking out. I need to find out what this feeling is. I decided to go check on Callie.

I walked into the restaurant she was meeting Lou at when I heard a scream from the bathroom..

"NOOO" I heard someone yell. I walked in and saw the last face I expected....liam.

"Well, well, well. What's your name again? Candon? Landon? Oh, wait. Brandon. It's good to see you. How's Callie? Still as gorgeous as ever?" he asked smirking.

"You leave her out of this. Haven't you caused enough damage?" I asked through my teeth.

"No. I still have some things under my sleeve. Trust me, you'll know once I do it. Just keep an eye on everyone who is special to you. Oh, be sure to tell Callie that she looked hot in that dress." he said walking past me. What is he going to do to my family? I've got to come up with something.

I walked out of the restroom to see Callie and Lou at a booth. I went over and sat on Callie's side.

"Hey, babe." I said as I kissed her.

"Hey, B. What are you doing here?" she asked.

"I came to get lunch. They have the best food in town. Besides your cooking of course." I said Putting my arm around her.

"Well, I'll leave you alone. I'll see y'all around." Lou said as she left.
