Brandon's POV
Today is the day Callie and Cameron get to come home. I'm excited to have my little boy home at last. My moms have been really happy for us, but Marianna is way more excited. Lena has been away on a camping trip, so they don't know Cameron's name yet, but they will soon because they're coming back later today. They went camping because Lena had just lost the baby, so they thought It'd be good for her.
"Brandonnn." Callie groaned in a sleepy voice.
"Yes, my love?" I asked.
"I need you." she replied.
"What's wrong?" I asked getting worried.
"I need you to cuddle with me." she said moving over so I could lay down. I laid down next to her and wrapped my arms around her waist.
"I wish we could stay like this forever." she whispered.
"I do too, babe. I do too." I said back.
"I love you, Brandon. So so much." she said as she kissed my nose.
"I love you so much more, honey." I said kissing her forehead.
"Can we go for a walk?" She questioned.
"Whatever you want." I said helping her up. We were walking when Callie suddenly stopped. I saw tears in her beautiful brown eyes.
"What's wrong, sweetheart?" I asked becoming very concerned.
"Ju-Jude and I used to walk here all the time. He- he would always bake brownies and we'd come down here and eat them. He was always good at cooking. He got it from our mom." she whimpered out.
"Why haven't you ever talked about Jude before?" I asked her. I've only heard about Jude twice, now three times.
"It would hurt too much. He didn't deserve that. He was such a good kid." she said while more tears streamed down her face.
"Oh, honey. I know. I'm sorry. It'll be okay. I promise." I said kissing her forehead.
"I love you." she mumbled.
"I love you too." I said as we walked back into her room.
While writing this, I had tears of my own. Just to let you know, Jude died about a year ago, and Callie is still taking it pretty hard. Her little brother meant the world to her. He died in a car accident, just like her mom's ex-husband, Donald. Colleen and Robert are together in this story. Please comment what you think!
