The Colonels POV

"Excellent sir! I'll inform my master at once. The limo will be there around 10:30 pm to take you here. Dress in your finest." He exclaimed before hanging up quite quickly.

I set the phone down on the hook and frowned from his words.

Dress in my finest. Hm...

I decided to get some things ready for the night since it seemed evveryone who was going was gonna be sleeping over after the game.

I grabbed my suitcase from the bottom of my closet and filled it with some clothes for the next morning. I also brought my gun, knowing Mark liked antique weapons, maybe he'd like it as a gift of some sort. It hadn't been used in a while so I couldn't imagine it would still be useful, just something to show off.

After getting my bag ready, I looked over my outfit, thinking about what to wear that would impress an audience.

I didn't really have any fancy outfits that could go for a night like this. I looked in the mirror and examined how I looked.

I was still in my tan uniform, my hat on the table now so I could see how my hair looked.

My uniform was plain, nothing special about it to anyone.

Well, there was somthing special about this uniform...

I sighed and just stared at my reflection, the figure looking back at me was full with despair and gloom. It physically hurt me.

I took off the tan overcoat and examined the shirt I was wearing underneath it, maybe I could change it to brighten myself up someway.

I took off the plain white button up and looked through my closet for a shirt with more color.

I frowned as I couldn't find anything with more color than tan, black, or white in my closet.

I looked in my dresser for something to wear, perhaps something was buried in the back of the drawer that I could use. Upon looking, in the very back I found a pastel yellow button up, scrunched up and a little wrinkled.

I held it up in front of me and examined it for any stains, tears, or missing buttons. None from what I could see.

I slid on over my shoulders and buttoned it up completely, smiling a little in the mirror at the new change I made. I looked in the dresser once more for anything else and found some red suspenders in the top drawer, putting them on carefully but fast since I knew how to put these on pretty well.

I put my tan coat back on and looked in the mirror one last time, nodding in approval at the new changes I made to myself, though they were minor, it made me feel happier inside.

I grabbed my bag and set it next  to the front door where I assumed the limo would be picking me this evening.

10:30 pm

I heard a honk at the door and slowly got up from the chair I sitting in and walked outside, a large black car outside, the driver coming out and opening the back of the car for my luggage.

I took a deep breath and got my bag, walking outside.

The driver gave me a quick smile before grabbing the small bag from my arms and loading it in the car, opening the door for me to climb in, which I did cautiosly.

I looked around the inside of the limo, the atmosphere warm and inviting. There was leather cushioning everywhere, a small bar in the back towards the driver sat, and soft music playing to make me comfortable.

I declined the little bar, wanting to be sober when I got to the mansion.

The vehicle finally moved and i looked behind me as my home began to grow smaller, and smaller until it was gone from my view..
