"You're right, princess."

I felt my self being dragged through the crowd, bodies bumping me this way and that way until I had fallen over so many times I felt myself get lifted up, feet dangling in the air.

"Reece? Where are you?"

~~~
I woke up, still surrounded by loud noise and people. I must have blacked out for only a second. "Reece!" I screamed, hoping that if he was still here, he would hear me.
"Shut up, bitch."
"Reece! Help!" I screamed again, adding "help" so that anyone who had any senses in this place would realize what was going on.
"I said shut up!"
I felt a sharp pain in my head before everything went black once more.
~~~

"Ava? Ava? Oh God please wake up. Bloody hell! Ava!" I felt my arm being shaken vigorously and I forced my eyes open to see a familar pair of green eyes staring down at me. I watched as relief washed over his face when I opened my eyes. "Oh, thank God." He pulled me into his chest, squeezing me so tight I thought I was going to break a rip.

"Ow," I muttered softly. My head was still spinning and I didn't have the strength to push him off.

"Oh, I'm so sorry." He loosened his grip and then pulled away, cupping my head in his hands. "I shouldn't have gone to the bathroom. I'm such an idiot. I'm so sorry." I watched as tears started streaming down his face.

"No cry," I mumbled. I lifted my good hand and tried to wipe them away but I missed his face.

"Let's get you home." He helped me up, keeping both his hands on my waist to steady me as we walked.

"What happened?" I asked, trying to force myself to remember. The only thing that came to mind was the loud music and crowded dance floor.

"Shh. Don't worry about it right now. You're okay now. You're safe."

~~~
Reece helped me home and was able to find the key to my apartment from my purse. I still couldn't remember anything that happened and every time I asked Reece he told me not to worry about it.
"Careful, watch your step." Reece held my arm as we walked into his apartment but even with his warning I tumbled over the step and would have fallen to the ground if Reece hadn't caught me. Instead of placing me back on my feet he picked me up in his arms bridal style and carried me to my room. He softly sat me down on my bed. "Don't move, I'll be right back."
I watched as he left and then decided I was very uncomfortable in what I was wearing. I kicked off my shoes and without even thinking about it pulled off my pants and top so I was in nothing but my underwear.
"Oh, um, sorry." I looked up to see a bright red Reece standing in my doorway with a glass of water in his hand.
I giggled, still feeling extremely loopy, but managed to make my way over to my closet to grab a t-shirt to put on. I walked back into my room and tripped over one of my shoes I had thrown. Thankfully, Reece got me before I fell once again and helped me get into my bed.
"Drink this." He handed the glass of water to me and I took a few small sips before I tried to hand it back to him. "All of it," he said, pushing it back toward me.
I drank the rest of the water and Reece took the cup from me and placed it on my bedside table. I pulled the covers up and closed my eyes. I heard the door start to creak and my eyes shot open. "Reece?"
"What's wrong?" Reece rushed over to the side of the bed faster than I'd ever seen him move.
"Where are you going?"
"To the guest room. I don't want to leave you alone in your flat."
"Stay." I patted the side of the bed next to me.
"I don't know if that's a good idea." Reece started to back up. "I don't want you to think I took advantage of you."
"Please, stay," I begged. "I don't want to be alone."
He sighed. He closed the door and turned off the light. I heard the sound of clothes hitting the floor before my bed dipped down slightly and the covers moved slightly.
I moved closer to him, reaching my arm out to feel where he was. I couldn't find him as he seemed to be laying as far away from me as possible. "Why are you so far away?"
Silence.
"Reece?"
Finally, I heard movement and felt his arms wrap around me, pulling me into his soft, bare chest. I felt his lips press against my forehead and I couldn't help but smile.
"I don't deserve you, Reece Bibby." I pressed a kiss to his chest and pulled myself closer to him, laying my head on his chest so that I could hear his heartbeat. It was racing.
"That's not true. You deserve better. You deserve the world."
"I don't want the world. I want you."
