It had been two months since Reece had explained the situation with the fan and we'd figured everything out. I apologized to George and he said it was fine but that it created quite the awkward situation with his girlfriend, Sarah, who I also apologized to. Once I explained the situation she said she wasn't upset and now her and I are really good friends. Blake and Leah have also been seeing a lot of each other but she refuses to comment on any of it no matter how much I try to get her to. I had also finished the manuscript for my book, Breaking and Entering, and it was currently under review by my publishers. In short, life was pretty good.

"Leah?" I answered Leah's call after sitting down next to Reece on my couch. "What's up?"
"Hey, is Reece with you by any chance?"

"Yes, he is," Reece replied before I could.

"You're on speaker. Is everything alright?" Leah never called unless she had something really important to tell me.

"Yeah, Blake asked me to call you to find out if Reece was still all set to come over to film a cover later."

"And Blake couldn't call Reece himself, why?" I laughed.

"Who knows, he's currently out doing the shopping so maybe he felt it was easier for me to call."

"I am still available." Reece said before quickly saying to me, "If that's alright with you?"

"No, yeah, that's fine. My publisher is supposed to get back to me later tonight about my book so I will be busying myself with making sure my library is organized."

He kissed the side of my head. "Stop worrying. Your book is amazing."

"He's right. I've got to go but I love you guys and I'll see you soon!"
Reece and I quickly said our goodbyes before hanging up.

"By the way, I'm not worrying so you don't have to tell me to stop worrying." I put my phone down next to me and leaned my head against his shoulder.

"Oh, really? So you're saying that you're looking over your library for fun?" He chuckled softly and I lifted my head up so I was looking at him.

"That's exactly what I'm doing."

"You do realize you looked over it like two days ago. You haven't even been in there since so there's no way anything has moved." He studied my face, knowing he was right.

"Maybe a ghost has moved some books around." I picked up one of Reece's hands and started twisting his rings.

"They're going to love it, Ava. And if they don't, then they're just plain stupid and you should find a new publisher." He took my hands in his and squeezed them tightly.

"Maybe I'm just not meant to be a writer." I didn't look at him, feeling all my insecurities boiling up inside of me.

"Nope, none of that. Look at me." I lifted my head, tears welling in my eyes. "Now repeat after me. I, Ava Richards."

I took a deep breath. "I, Ava Richards."

"Am a beautiful human being, inside and out."
"Am a beautiful human being, inside and out." I started to blink away my tears.

"And am an amazing writer that will publish this book and many more."

I looked at him doubtfully.

"Say it."

"And am an—" I started, mumbling the rest under my breath but Reece interrupted me.

"Say it like you mean it."

"But I don't m—"

"Stop telling yourself negative things." He cupped my head in his hands. "You are an amazing writer."
