"Are you going to get out or just sit there?" I looked over to the drivers seat where Freddie sat, his eyebrow raised in question.
"I'm tired," I said, slouching further in the seat.
"No you're not, you were asleep before me last night," damn, he got me. I looked over to the glass school doors that were around thirty feet ahead. I wonder if I could make it without another guy asking me out, it's happened three times in the past week, and frankly, I was sick of it, but when I was with Freddie no one even tried. I looked up at him, only just realising how long his lashes were, they were the type that girls envy. "You're going to have to face it sometime soon, it's not like you can just stay off for seven months."
"I could move schools?" I suggested lamely.
"I wouldn't let you," I glared up at him, but really, I couldn't move schools, I've had too many good memories in this one. He sighed and looked around the parking lot. "I could tell you whatever they say about you, I mean, if they're planning anything I'll tell you, okay?"
Backing down, I nodded in agreement, it would be better than nothing right? No surprise attacks or anything. I watched as he got out of the car and jogged to open mine.
"Thanks," I grabbed my bag from the floor of the car, and keeping my head down I walked to the door, trying not to collect any unwanted attention, Freddie following behind.
"Okay Kim, I gotta run," I turned to face him and nodded, "Music project to hand in, I'll see you in first period yeah?" he kissed my forehead and I watched as he walked down the hallway until he turned the corner.
"Hey," I spun around to meet the voice, which was coming from the six foot, gorgeous brunette guy leaning against my locker, "It's Kimmy right?"
"Uhm, yeah I guess,"
"You guess?"
"No, I mean yes, I'm Kimmy," I furrowed my brow in confusion, why was he speaking to me again?
"I'm Robbie by the way," he held his hand out, and I shook it cautiously, still wondering why he was leaning on my locker. I noted how his black shirt showed off his lean muscles, wondering if he had a six pack under that shirt....
My eyes shot up when a smirk appeared on his face, blatantly noticing me gawking at him, already feeling the heat rise to my cheeks I looked down at my feet, attempting to hide my red face.
"Well Kimmy, I'll see you around." he chuckled as he turned and left. Sighing I grabbed my needed books out of my locker and went to first period.
I sat in the seat in the middle by the window, trying not to collect any unwanted attention on my part. I wonder what Robbie meant by seeing me around? He can't have just gone around to everyone saying that, could he?
Mr. Boston had already set the task, he was an old fashioned teacher, one that uses textbooks and marks the work in class time. I watched as cars went past on the road, counting them out of boredom since I had already finished the work last lesson.
"Psst Kimmy,"
I looked over my shoulder from where the voice was coming from, finding Kieran Jones glaring at me with a smirk on his face. I took no notice of him, I wasn't up for having a friendly banter with one of the Fifteen.
Then it hit me. Literally it hit me. I looked down at the scrunched up piece of paper by my feet, I looked back up to Kieran who was mouthing 'read it' to me. I glared at it, contemplating whether to read it or not.
I decided to see what he had to say, so I uncrumpled the piece of textbook paper.
MEET ME BY UR LOCKER
I looked back at him in confusion before getting up and throwing it in the bin, grimacing at him when he cought my eye.
Curiosity got the better of me though. He was leaning on my locker when I found him. I took my time going over to him, testing his patience.
"What do you want? I sighed, I wasn't interested in what he was going to say.
"Go on a date with me."
"No." I started to walk away before he grabbed my hand, spinning me round to face him.
"Ow, what the hell?!" I cupped my sore nose that had banged into his rock hard chest. "Was there any need?!" he just smirked. Prick.
"Come on a date with me and I can prove you wrong."
"Ugh, hell no."
"Why?"
"Because you're a dick and I don't like you."
"You shouldn't judge people so quickly you know."
"I've known you for over three years, I think I have a right to judge you." I look at Kieran as I turned to my locker, but I knew from the sigh that he had left.
While I was doing the combination, a head rested ontop of mine.
"What the-?" I said, turning.
"No, don't move, I'm trying to sleep here!" Freddie whined, sniffing then rubbing his tired eyes.
"Someone looks like hell?" I smirked a little, opening my locker and putting in my folders.
"Right back at you Kimmy bear." Freddie said with an evil voice and then yawned.
I slapped his arm, scowling "Bite me!"
That was like, really mean.
I had actually bothered putting makeup on today.
"Is that an invitation?" he grinned.
"Oh beat it, I'm not going to be your personal pillow after last time." never. Ever. Again. Ever.
"That was by accident!! How was I supposed to know that I drooled when I slept?!" he whined.
"I couldn't care less, you drooled on my freaking shoulder!!"
"Ugh, you're never going to let that go are you?" he rolled his eyes at me and smirked.
"Nope." I said, popping the P. "Coming over tonight then?" I laughed as Freddie started playing with my curls, almost looking facinated I pushed him in the chest lightly, "Ohmigod, you weirdo."
He laughed and pulled back, running a hand through his dark hair "Yeah I'll see you later, you need a ride home right?"
"Duhh, I came in your car dimwit!" I said rolling my eyes. "I gotta go, I need to finish off my course work," I kissed his cheek quickly and made my way to the library. I knew that nobody that was one of the fifteen would dare hang out there, so I was safe. Only two periods to go before I could go home, and know fully well that I'll be safe.
