I grabbed my bag and left the class as soon as the bell went. I was starting to get sick of the glares and whispers going on around me. It wasn't that big of a deal really, I planned to lose it to someone that I actually like, or even love.
"Hey Kimmy," I turned to meet the voice, I smiled when I saw Robbie stood behind me grinning.
"Oh hey, what's up?" I gestured for him to walk with me, and he joined me by my side as I walked to the front entrance to meet with Freddie. I shivered slightly when Robbies arm brushed mine.
"Uhm...um," I raised an eyebrow in his direction as he stuttered nervously on his words, which I was finding strangely adorable, "are you going to the sit off this Friday?"
It didn't take long to think about it before I shrugged and nodded my head, "sure, why not. Who's house is it?"
"Oh, yeah it's at James' house," he said, shouldering his bag. I knew James from a few of my classes, I guess he was alright, he always threw parties when his parents would leave for some business trip, I suppose he would be what you called a 'bad boy' or whatever.
"Sure, see you there," I smiled and headed to Freddies car, where he was leaning on the hood with two girls flirting obsessively, himself obviously not paying much attention. I rolled my eyes once I got in his view.
"Come on, baby." I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his cheek. I bit my lip, stopping myself from grinning at the idea that I'd just thought of.
Nibbling on his ear, as seductively as possible without bursting out laughing. I kissed in a line down his neck, reaching to his collarbones and along his jaw, holding my breath when I he let out a small moan.
I pulled back to look at the two sluts, their mouths agape then turned to glare at me.
Freddie rolled his eyes as they walked away, stalking their next victim probably. "You just put me off getting laid tonight, you know that right?"
"And?" I smiled innocently.
He moved closer to me, closing the gap between us. "Well, you could take their place?" he smirked, leaning in.
Deciding to play along, I leant in closer, breathing on his ear, "Sure," I honestly didn't know if he knew I wasn't serious. I stepped back and climbed into the passengers side. He stood there watching the space where I had previously been before throwing his hands up in frustration and sliding into the drivers seat and starting the car.
I sat back, watching the houses go by through the window. Every so often I would feel Freddie's gaze slip over to me, but wouldn't saying anything.
"You weren't being serious were you?" I looked over to him, his concentration on the road.
"Duh, of course I wasn't, you're like, my best friend." I sighed. What looked like disappointment crossed his face, but it was quickly gone. What the hell?
"So will you come to James' sit off on Friday with me?" I asked as he pulled into my driveway. It didn't look like anyone was in, judging by the way there were no cars parked. I climbed out with Freddie, still waiting for him to answer. I leaned against his car, waiting for him to reply.
"Depends if I'm going with you, or just as a friend, since that's all I guess I'll ever be." he spat. I looked at him in disbelief, having no idea what he was going on about.
"What?"
"You're like this perfect and amazing person and I'm just this freak with a million problems and I don't know why you picked me but don't let me go, please?" he said, his eyes filled with pain.
"I won't."
"Good," he said quietly, "because I love you."
