The Dance

I am running late

"Mom, I am gonna be late!" I whine

"Well your gonna Be Fashionably Late!" She says trying to cheer me up

I sigh..." Okay...Love you Mom." I say

"Love you to...How bout we listen to some music?" She motions to the radio

I turn on the radio and 'All about that Bass' comes on

I sing to it.

__At the school__

"Mom I am Fourty minutes late..."

"Have Fun!" She cuts me off and closes the door on me...Rude much?

When I get to the doors I hear my name. "Beatrice Prior?" The announcer says

I guess thats my cue

I open both doors....

Bea hasn't shown up yet and I starting to get worried

"Hey Have you seen Be- Tris?" I ask Her friend...Zeke? I think his name is...eh whatever...

"No...she's not here?" He asks

I shake my head 'No'

He shrugs his shoulders

And leaves...."Excuse Me!" Someone says through the Mic

Everyone settles down. "We are gonna announce the Queen and King!" She says

Everyone cheers and claps

"Okay here are the results and Your Queen is......!" The announcer announces

I see a girl get ready to go up on the stage she looks like that girl she looked at before she answered my question.

"Beatrice Prior!!!" She says

There is a Huge light scanning the crowd yet... Nothing

"Beatrice Prior?" She asks then the doors open revealing....Her.
