I guess it's right what they say, when it rains, it pours

It lingers around my soul, and in my mind,

Making puddles in and around my heart.

Lying in wait, and gathering, clinging to each other to have enough depth to drown me.

When it pours, it's a gracious gift to me, and a blessing to my swimming eyes,

Eyes full of tears, I cry because of you and for you, the pain gives me utterance.

Though I kneel on broken shards of my heart on the rough pavement, still, I pray for you.

My heart is pure, and it loves you with every broken piece, because even when it rains and my eyes pour along,

My lips are perpetually ringing your name, and wishing you the best, especially, when it rains.
