I was sitting in my choir class when i saw the door open and the whole class turned toward the door. A tall handosme black haired boy stood in the door in all balck.
"I'm here for Mr.Troyers class?" He said as Mr.Troyer waved
He motioned for him to come to the front of the class.
"Hello everyone, this is Calum Hood, he is a new student from Australia." Calum nodded and waved "Calum, go ahead and have a seat in the back next to Ava." He said as i saw the hot guy come nd sit next to me.
I didn't speak a single word, because i was staring at the clock the whole time. Last period always seems like it drags on, which it does. When the bell finally rang, i grabbed my stuff and was heading for the door when someone tapped my shoulder and i turned around, looking up at Calum.
"Can you help me get out of here? I'm pretty lost." He said as he scratched the back of his neck.
"Yeah, which parkinglot are you in?" I asked as i started towards the front doors.
"C..?" He said, walking quickly to keep up with me.
"Okay just follow me." I knew i would be late for my bus, but maybe he would offer me a ride.
We didn't talk about much, except forthe usual 'how you liking the new country' stuff. When we finally got to his car, he put his stuff in the opened the driver side door.
"Do you need a ride?" He asked before he got inside
"Um actually yeah.." i laughed as i walked to the other side.
Once he strated his car, blink 182 satrted playing and i started singing along.
"You like blink?" he asked as he backed out of the space and drove onto the main rode.
"Yeah. My older brother used to be really into them, so when he drove me places we listened to them." My voice got weak towards the end o my sentence. I smiled as i looked out the window, trying to hold back tears. I knew Calum noticed my sudden mood change
"Are you okay?" Calum asked as he turned off the music.
"Yeah its just, um, my brother died when he was 18, so two years ago. It's still really hard to talk about him." I laughed as i wiped a single tear. "It's stupid forget about it." i laughed and told him to turn right into my neighbor hood
"Stupid? No way. I think you and i should learn everything about each other." He smiled at me
"uh huh, and why's that?" i said as i pointed to my street and he turned.
"Because i was going to ask if you're free friday night." He bite his lip
"Uh..maybe, i might have another boy from australia i have a date with."
"Um who said it was date?" He said sarcasticly. i pointed to my house.
"Oh yeah, we'll be hanging out." I said as he pulled into my driveway. i got out and grabbed my stuff. He rolled down the window and leaned out. "Thanks for the ride Calum." I smiled
"See you tomorrow."
-next day after school-
I was walking to my bus when my friend stopped me right before i stepped on
"Oh hey Lex."
'Who's that calum kid?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"He's just some guy in my choir class who gave me a ride home yesterday. we're friends and he is really nice, you should meet him."
"He's telling everyone you're dating..." she said
"Um...tonights our frist date...?" I laughed as i turned away and made my way to the backseat of the bus. The 40 minute ride consisted of the fresmen being crazily annoying as i sat, listeng to music and looking out the window.
When i finally got home i went to my room and changed into nike shorts and a tshirt. it was 4;00 and i had 2 1/2 hours to do my homework and get ready. i pulledout my math notebook and opened my laptop. i read a science article and wrote a summary. then i took out my history packet and read 3 pages and answered 15 questions.
Now i had about an hour and an hour and 15 minutes or so. i jumped in the shower and washed away all the sweat from cheer pratice.. i shaved my legs and made sure i smelt good. I dried off and blew my hair dry. I decided to wear light jeans with a maroon sweater and my black and white converse. i left my hir wavy and put on my normal makeup. It was about 6:50 when i was finally ready.

are you serius? you tell people we are dating and then you blow me off on our first date? Calum we can cancel but i'm not re scheduling. have fun doing whatever is more important then this.

This is more important then our date. my mom was in a car crash and shes in the hospital with a broken leg and arm

I couldn't believe his text. I couldn't believe my text! How could i have been so inconsiderate, but at the same time how did i know he really needed to reschedule. I decided to go to the hospital and talk face to face.
I pulled into the hospital parking lot and fast walked inside.
"Is there a Mr.Hood?"
"Yes, room 1125"
I walked down the white walled hallways as i heard soft voices coming from the rooms. I made my way tot he end where there was aother waiting room where i saw Calum sitting hunched over on his phone, wearing black jeans a white shirt with a leather jacket. He looked up and caught my gaze. i half smiled at him as he stood up and made his way over to me.
I leaned against the wall next to me ashe mirrored me
"Hey its okay if we rescheudule.." Ilooked at my feet.
"Okay" he laughed "I didn't know this meant this much to you." he teased me
"It doesn't" I said as i tried to stop from smiling "it was just some stupid date" I rolled my eyes.
"Uh-huh just like this is a stupid kiss?" He asked as my eyebrows furrowed together
"Wha-" i was caught off guard by calum connecting our lips and closing the space betweenus as i moved my arms from being crossed to them on this shoulders as i stood on my tiptoes. Right when we broke apart i felt an ache because his lips weren't on mine.
I looked up into his deep brown eyes, trying to understand how i could like him this much in a split second, but i did.
"You're beautiful." He said in a hushed voice. I didn't even answer, but i felt my face heat up.
"Be my boyfriend." Was all is said in response.
"Wow desperate?" Calum smiled and he turned to walk away but before he did, he spun back around and kissed me again. when he pulled away he wrapped his arms around my neck "Of course I will"
