Day 2, Regina gets to the gym at 9 am. She went on her morning run earlier, and headed to the gym for her training with Killian.

She doesn't know why she showered after her run, when she was just going to go get sweaty again, but she did anyway, and swooped her hair up into a ponytail.

The gym was busy at this time, Regina came in, with a little skip in her step. The men halted once more watching her go by them, in her little tight gym pants. "Hey hey," Killian scolds them all as he walks from his office.

"Back to your own training please," Killian commands. "Didn't know you were so protective," Regina teased.

"Listen I won't treat differently than a guy, but at the same time, one can't deny you ARE an attractive woman, they have no need to ogle," he turns his head, with a snap in his words, with his brow raised at the guys still staring at her.

"Alright, you did your morning run, so you're slightly warmed up, how fast were you today?" He asked. "What do you mean?" She asks.

"You're supposed to be timing yourself and your distance," he said. "Oh, you didn't tell me that," She shakes her head. "My my, so many things to teach you," he picks up red wraps, "come on," he holds it up and she puts her hand out to him.

He begins wrapping them around her hand as he speaks. "Now, today we are going to work on your footwork," he says as he gets to the end of the wrap, he ties it into a knot. Lifting her hand higher, he takes one end between his teeth as he tightens it.

She stares at him, and he begins wrapping her other hand casually, as if he didn't just do something extremely sexy with his mouth. "Footwork, right," She finally says something after her internal swoon moment.

"Ok, you don't need gloves, just wraps for now, get in the ring," he gently nudges her. She climbs up into the ring and he follows, "now quick footwork keeps you from getting hit, as you know, so we swift quickly, one two three," he demonstrates.

Taking it in like a sponge, Regina nods affirming she understands and begins copying him. "good, good, one two three," he moves around with his feet in a concentric pattern, and she continues to mimic him.

After Killian guided Regina with multiple foot work techniques, and practiced them over and over, for two hours, her legs felt like jelly a bit. "Good, water break," he said.

"I can keep going," She boasted. "When I tell you water break, you do it, go," he said firmly. "You're so bossy," She rolled her eyes. "Yeah well that's what a trainer does," he said.

Regina sat outside the ring a moment and drank some water. "What's next?" She asked enthusiastically.

"Your stamina is impressive," he praises. "Well, I'm only twenty-seven," She shrugs. "Are you calling me old? I'm only thirty-three," he said.

"You're not... old... you're wise," she teases. "I see, come on, do you know what peek a boo is?" He asked.

"Like the baby game?" Regina mocked.

"No, in boxing, peek a boo, is a type of fighting style where the boxer places their gloves in front of their face in order to protect most of it from the opponent's punches. The stance makes it much easier for the fighter to jab due to the hand already being at the proper height as opposed to having to bring it up from chest-level or lower." he demonstrates the position.

Killian picks up his phone, "Ok I'll be right there," he sighs. "I have to go," he says. Regina is displeased and stares at him leave, as he doesn't explain why.

Frustrated, Regina leaves the gym later in a huff and she sees him in a bar. "Hey!" She snaps and goes to him at the counter.

He's noticeably tipsy, almost drunk. "What the hell? You cut our practice short to come on a bender?" She huffs with her hands on her hips.

"I got a call, it was important," he said sipping a whiskey. "And then you came here? What kind of trainer or coach is that?" She stamps at him.

"It was a difficult thing, I needed a drink, and I don't answer to you," he said. She pouts at him, and a voice on the other end speaks. "You're Killian Jones, training women now?" the man mocks.

Killian rolls his eyes.

"Became such a hack you training women now Jones?" the man mocks again. Killian grits his teeth, and Regina scowls.

"Let's go," he downs the whiskey, and gets up to leave with her, a little wobbly on his feet. "Come on," Regina guides him gently.

"Woman needs to take care of you now too," the heckler mocks again. Killian tips his head up, annoyed.

Turning fast on her heels, Regina taps the heckler's shoulder.

The man turns to face her and Regina's left hook punches him square in the jaw, knocking him down over the bar.

Killian's eyes widen, despite his tipsy state, "That... was.. hot.." he nods approvingly.

Regina shakes her hand, given that punch hurt without wraps and gloves. "Come on," Regina guided Killian out the door.

His apartment was close, so she took him home. "I am fine," he insists, with a slight slur. "Here," he takes peas from his freezer.

"That was a good left hook," He sits down as she puts the frozen bag on her hand. "Thanks, well, he was... rude, and I don't like being insulted," She said.

"Mmm," he looked closely at each of her fingers. "Nothing broken," he says. "I should be a little tougher than that," She boasts.

"Well, hitting a man in the jaw without gloves at that force, usually can damage the hand, but you're quite the little fighter," he said.

"I'm sorry I left like that, and I'm sorry I didn't tell you anything and just am here, quite tipsy now, this isn't a habit, I promise," He said.

"It's fine.. I just didn't understand," Regina said. "What was the call?" She asked. "Nothing I want to discuss right now, just a friend," He said.

"Oh," She nodded, not wanting to press him. "I'll train you tomorrow," he said. "And not ditch me?" She asked.

"Yes, you have my word, it won't happen again," he said.

"Good," She nods. "Ok, let me get you a cab, so you can get sleep, and do your run first, time it this time," he said.

Taking her downstairs, he rubbed his head, "You'll have a headache tomorrow," She said. "Yeah well, don't you worry about that," he said opening the cab door for her.

"I did enjoy your dashing rescue." Killian praised, as he shut the door.
