"Happy birthday baby," Killian kissed his daughter's cheek, as she smiled after blowing out her seven birthday candles. "I can't believe she's seven," Regina sighed. "Don't cry mummy," Killian said.
Hosting Molly's party at a nearby playground, they had a nice group of adults and kids Molly knew gathered. "Kayden is getting big too," Regina stared at the almost four year old boy.
"And here you called me and David the sappy ones," Killian joked. "Yeah well, she's my baby," Regina sighed. "Mm she's still a baby, just a seven year old one," Killian kissed her temple gently.
"Do I get to fight now in the class?" Molly asked Killian at home. "Uhh it's eight and up honey," Regina said. "But Daddy gave me gloves," Molly whined.
"Child is... advanced," Killian shrugged. "We'll talk about it later," Regina said giving her husband a look.
"What's wrong Mummy? I know you don't like her growing up but," Killian mused in the doorway as Regina brushes her teeth.
"Killian, we said eight, and that's the age on the class anyway," Regina pat her lips and stared at him. "She's also the daughter of the gym owner and she's already been doing exercises since the she could walk," he defends.
"The other kids will think she's getting special treatment," Regina said. He furrowed his brows at her. "What's this really about? You don't like her growing up, I know that much, but what else?" Killian asked.
"We said we weren't going to push her into this and be, those types of parents," Regina said. "We aren't, she's choosing this on her own," he shrugged. "Is she though? She's seven and wants to do everything we do," Regina said.
"That's not the same as pushing her love," Killian said. "Fine we talk to her and make sure she's doing this for Molly and not us," Regina said. "Ok, speaking of doing things," He tugs her to him.
"You," Regina giggled, wrapping her arms around him.
Next morning
Molly sits cutely eating breakfast, "So Molly, you want to do the boxing class with the other kids at the gym right?" Regina asked. "Yes please," Molly grinned cutely.
"You want to do that because Mummy and Daddy box or you want to because you like it?" Killian asked. "Both," Molly answered. Regina looked at Killian, with a sighed expression.
"I think that's good enough love," Killian nodded to Regina. "Ok, you can do the boxing at the gym," Regina agreed. "Yay! Were you boxing last night?" Molly asked.
"What?" Killian asked curiously, furrowing his brows. "I heard you and Mummy making noise," Molly said.
Regina gaped at Killian, horrified. "Oh umm.... we were.. wrestling," Killian lied playfully. "Is that like boxing?" Molly asked. "Well sort of, no hitting really, just... getting the other person.... down," Killian stifled a laugh in his throat.
"Ok go get your things," Regina pat her off quickly and widened her eyes at Killian. Killian laughed, "That's pretty funny actually," Killian grinned.
"Oh my god, I'm horrified," Regina sighed. "You are quite loud," Killian said. "That is your fault," Regina scolded him. "Fine, I like being guilty of that," Killian shrugged.
"Mummy who won?" Molly asked, coming to them with her backpack. "Won what?" Regina shook her head, "The wrestling," Molly said.
"Uhhh..." Regina groaned blankly. "Your mum won," Killian grinned and picked up Molly. "She tends to win a lot," Killian grinned devilishly and headed out with Molly to take her to school.
