"I'm free and flying higher, running straight through the fire. Like it or not now, that's who I am."

-Like It Or Not By Willa J.

Noartus

"How does the website and app work?", asked the lady with the badge Sciorn.

Didn't our presentation just cover that?

Of course, the woman wants to be  seen on the TV worldwide, even if that means asking the dumbest question ever. Pack Sciorn couldn't have sent a better representative?

"This question will be taken up by the C.E.O. Mrs. Derisius herself. Thank You.", Daniel said into the microphone. His green eyes met mine slyly. Oh, he knew I was tired and a repetitive question was the last thing I could tolerate. Having mind-link would've been handy in situations like these, I could shout at Daniel right now.

But people keep testing my patience continuously.

Daniel, you will pay for this later.

Plastering a smile on my face I said,"Like we mentioned during the presentation, every member who joins or signs up is required to enter a few details. Their name, pack,a profile picture and age, along with the description of their scent and their favorite scent. We match their favorite scent with the data of all our users, if there's a match, we show you their profile picture. If that person is your mate, you'll know right away after looking at the picture- if you enter yes, we'll help you chat and call them with our standard fee. We use the fact that every creature has a different and unique scent."

"Thank You, ma'am. Any more questions?",Daniel asked into the microphone, his eyes searching the crowd.

"This system can't help humans directly, right?", the representative of Pack Junixer. Finally, a worthy question!

"This question will be taken by Sophie on the panel, Thank You." ,Daniel said, into the microphone, straightening his tie.

"Like in real world, humans can't tell or know their mates without touching them- and feeling the sparks. We can't tell it via the website or the app either. However, humans are encouraged to sign up so that a possible match can be made and the supernatural can confirm if they are their mates or not.",Sophie responded, leaning forward in her seat slightly.

"Thank You, sir. Are there any more questions?"

Almost every pack representative here had asked a question. They had to, it was a question of honor for them, for the pack's badge to be noticed worldwide and show that they are alert and prolifering.

Every pack, save Crawfort. If belonging to the strongest pack entails one to sit broodingly in the middle of a convention with arms crossed, acting like you're better then everyone here- like you're here just because your mama sent you and you couldn't say no to her, then guy covered in tattoos with the crooked nose was doing an amazing job. If the silent pack hierarchy was non-existent then this guy would've been thrown out of my convention at least three hours ago for violating the strict dress code for inter-pack meetings. At least he had the decency to wear his Pack Badge.

"Most supernaturals aren't up-to date with modern technology. Is there any other way to avail the service?", asked the woman with badge Pretchet.
