you and roger are having a chilled day today, both of you have took a day off today to spend some time together.
"i've got a surprise for you tomorrow, y/n." roger speaks up. "after work, though."
"what is it?" you ask him nervously.
"i can't tell you, it's a surprise." he winks.
"is it a good surprise?" you groan.
"of course it is." he kisses your forehead and you smile at him.
the next day you go to work, thinking about what roger's surprise. luckily, you weren't in work for much longer.
you walk up to the front door and you open it.
"rog?!" you shout.
"yeah, i'm upstairs! don't come up!" he shouts back.
"what are you doing?"
"it's your surprise!"
after 5 minutes he comes down the stairs and grins at you.
"can i see it now?" you ask, chuckling.
"yeah, come here."
you hold his hand and his other hand goes over your eyes.
"i'm terrified." you admit
"don't be, sweetheart." he laughs. "it's good, trust me."
he opens the bedroom door and he moves his hands from your eyes.
there is a little, baby maltese dog sat on the bed looking at you with its head to the side.

you put your hands to your mouth and roger laughs.
"oh, my god!" you exclaim. the dog jumps off the bed and runs over to you. you bend down to him you hug the dog.
"do you like him?" roger asks, bending down next you.
"i love him." you giggle. "it's a boy, right?"
"yeah, what are you calling him?"
"uh.. what about.. buddy?" you look at roger and he nods.
"that's cute." you pick buddy up and kiss him.
you all sit on the bed and roger has even bought dog toys and treats. and the rest of the day is just spent with you all playing with your new puppy.
