you hear your boyfriend shouting in the other room. freddie shouts back twice as loud.

roger walks into the room your in and he sits next to you in silence.

"what happened? where's freddie?" you ask him.

"he's in there with brian and john." he answers.

"well, why aren't you in there with them?"

"because i'm done with them. i can't be arsed with them anymore." he mumbles.

"tell me what happened, love." you say resting your hand on his.

"he's just not listening to us. it's like we're not even in a band anymore."

"i heard you both shouting from here." you tell him and he sighs. "maybe you should go say sorry? for shouting like that." he looks at you confused.

"i didn't do anything."

"you're acting like a kid." you say. "if you apologise then you can both forget-"

"we can both forget about until the next time it happens. it's never gonna stop, y/n." he replies.

"it can stop, if you just talk to him. no shouting, just talking. come on, roger."

he hesitates before standing up with you and you go into the room with the rest of the band. freddie gives roger a look.

"roger has something to say." you tell freddie.

"oh, really? what is it, darling?" freddie looks at roger again and smiles.

"i'm, uh.. sorry, fred." roger mumbles.

"pardon?" freddie says. roger scoffs.

"i'm sorry." he says more clearly.

"thank you, dear." freddie grins. "i guess i'm sorry too, i understand why you'd get so angry with me."

roger nods and smiles at freddie.
