Toms POV

Sherbet lollys are actually quite good. Thank you Barbara for reminding me of childhood She is so funny, the mind of a child, then again so do I.

The next day after the trip, I slept in. Fred then decided it would be a good idea to bug me a bit while I was asleep.

"How did the trip go with the Sunday school?" He asked I was still sleeping "You sleeping on me reverend?"

"I had gotten no sleep Fred," I said exhausted, "That little girl Tina wasn't well and I was awake in fear."

Fred continued to ask me about how things went.

"I started to befriend Nurse Gilbert."

"Did you now Reverend?"

"Sherbet lollys!" I said

"I knew you were kid in some way reverend."

He wasn't wrong.

The day of the BBC broadcast Barbara and I were able to spend some time preparing for it before hand. She was able to talk back to Mr. Swann with a really funny comment, he looked at me and covered up my laugh with a cough. As he left I just couldn't keep my eyes off her. She just has this smile that just is unnoticeable.
She started to giggle as Mr Swann left of course I laughed but who wouldn't. Someone spoke back to him, and Especially Barbara which I'm sure no one would have saw coming.

As the day went on, I continued to talk to her.

"I brought more of those Sherbet Lollys," I said as She smiled, "So which one is your favorite."

"Green and Purple I just love those colors and the flavor just is delicious."

"I'll remember that."

I can't believe I didn't talk to her as much before. She was so funny. She was also really sweet and cute.  I mean like I have met Barbara before but I barely knew her because I just gotten engaged to Trixie when I met her.
