Chapter Nineteen

This is going to take place after the scene at the beach

Barbara's POV

Ugh I can't believe I flipped out like that. I just needed someone to listen to me, but I may have ruined everything with Tom. Ugh how could I have done something so stupid.  Tom May never forgive me for this.

I went to go find him in the church he went to every night but as soon as he said "Hello you." I knew he forgave me.

Thank god

I apologized for shouting and I was also told I didn't even shout.

I giggled.

"Can I tell you a secret?" He asked

I nodded

"I can't get mad at you for anything." He whispered

"Good." I was about to lean in and kiss him but I forgot about the rule. "We can't kiss now."

"I know. It's horrible." He said "I have every intention of kissing you very gently."

"I have the intention of kissing you back." My face turned red as a tomato but it wasn't because of the sun.  Or the hot weather.

"You're the most adorable person on the earth." He said, "Goodnight Barbara."

"Night Tom!"

He then blew me a kiss and walked out.

I knew this was going to last a while.
