Mirror

A/N: I'm Back, I guess with more of my weird storytelling and confusing AF plot lines. I was going to draw pictures for this fic, but..... people didn't like it when I did it on AO3 so I chose not to include them. 

Anyways, rambling over.

Chapter 1: Mirror

"House warming gift, congrats on moving here."

Daniel smiled at his friend, Zack Lee, who was holding a box that was most likely either a rice cooker or a small toaster.

"Thanks Zack, I needed a new rice cooker," Daniel said, he took the box the other boy held out to him as Zack removed his shoes and stepped inside.

"So, this is the house you're going to live in with your mom? Where is she anyway?" Zack asked, Daniel went to place the gift in the kitchen.

"She's at the nursing home taking care of grandma, she's going to be living there for awhile until grandma is able to adjust accordingly," Daniel said, Zack nodded before he sat on the small couch in the living room.

"Where's everyone else?" Zack asked, "You did say the housewarming party/sleepover started around 3."

Daniel was about to answer when the doorbell rang, he went to answer it.

"Hi Zoe, Mira," Daniel greeted the two girls at the door.

"Hi Danny, is this your new place? It looks comfy!" Zoe greeted, she gave him a hug before handing him the small pink bag she held, "These are some candles I bought, they're supposed to help lighten the atmosphere."

"Thanks Zoe," Daniel grinned, the girl moved past him to slip off her boots as Mira waved to Zack who eagerly waved back with a grin on his face.

"Here's some brownies I made, there's also a few pans my mom says we don't need anymore," Mira said handing the small bag to Daniel.

"Thanks Mira, oh hey Vasco and Jace are here," Daniel said, looking past the brown-haired girl to see Vasco and Jace coming holding a cooler.

"Hi Vasco, Jace!" Daniel waved, Vasco and Jace waved with one arm as they entered the house with the cooler.

"We have brought chocolate milk, Daniel! I found it on the street and Jace bought this cooler to carry them," Vasco said, Jace looked at Daniel who seemed a bit unnerved at this.

"Uh... thanks Vasco, I'll drink them," Daniel said, Vasco and Jace went to sit in the living room as Daniel waited for the last two people to arrive.

Zack was happily talking with Mira, Zoe seemed content hugging a pillow on one end of the couch and eating the chips Daniel had left out in a bowl for his friends.

Vasco and Jace were busy moving the cooler to a place in the kitchen.

The doorbell rang once more, Daniel went to answer it with a smile.

"Hi Crystal, Eli," Daniel waved to the two, Crystal smiled as Eli smiled at him carrying a large package.

"I brought you and your mom some sweets, Daniel," Crystal said.

"Thanks," Daniel said, accepting the boxes in his hands.

He and Crystal had dated briefly for two weeks before breaking it off, Crystal and himself saw each other more as siblings the more they attempted to be romantic with one another. They agreed to stay friends in the end.

Eli dated Crystal a few months afterwards, Daniel remembered when Crystal went to introduce Eli to him, saying she wanted her best guy friend to get along with her boyfriend.
