Chapter 3: Electricity

Daniel's observation No. 1: He can't see me from his side of the mirror

'He doesn't seem to see me, but I can see him clearly,' Daniel thought as he saw the blonde lying on his bed in the reflection, reading a book with a black cover.

Daniel jokingly waved at him, the blonde didn't seem to notice his movement in the glass.

Daniel stuck his tongue out at the mirror at the blonde, the blonde flipped a page in his book and kept reading.

"He's covering his face with the book... why is there always something obstructing my view of his face?" Daniel asked himself.

Of course no one answered and blonde continued reading until Daniel stepped away to continue packing.

Daniel's observation No. 2: He can't hear what I say to him

"Can you lower that book enough to allow me to see your face, please? Seriously who holds a book that high to the point it hides their face?" Daniel asked.

The blonde continued reading.

Daniel stared at him through the mirror, "Can you at least tell me your name? Blonde spirit can apply to a lot of spirits wandering the Earth?"

A page was turned.

Daniel sighed.

Daniel's observation No. 3: He's totally NOT hot

Okay maybe he was lying.

'If only I had a view of his face,' Daniel thought as he stared at the blonde's back as he sat on the hamper of the bathroom.

The blonde was changing the shower curtain on his side, as Daniel watched quietly.

'Well, at least his back is hot.... Wait...' Daniel quickly shook his head, 'I'm not attracted to some dude's back! Zack and Eli obviously are going to hold this over my head, aren't they?'

Daniel sighed as he saw the blonde leave the room through the mirror.

He followed after him but instead of checking if he was in the mirror, he went straight to the living room.

He lied down on the couch and thought to himself, 'He's totally NOT hot.'

Jace performed the exorcism, making everyone leave the house and wait outside until he was done.

"You sure he's not taking a nap in your room?" Eli joked as Daniel picked up a blade of grass from the ground, fiddling with it.

"He could be taking a dump," Zack joked as Mira frowned, shaking her head at him. Zack quickly shut up after that.

Vasco looked weary as he internally cheered for Jace to exorcist the ghost out.

Jace came out a minute later, looking satisfied but also not relieved.

"What happened, Jace?" Vasco asked, Jace shook his head.

"The bad news is: The spirit is still in the mirror, the good news is that I think he acknowledges we exist." Jace said.

"What did you do?" Daniel asked, he looked wearily at the house.

"Well when I was performing the exorcism, he appeared in the mirror, I couldn't see his face since the candles had limited light, but the whole time I talked, I could feel him staring at me," Jace said, "He didn't seem mad."

Daniel looked at the house before beginning to approach it.

"Danny? What're you doing?" Zoe asked, Crystal and Eli followed by Zack hurried after Daniel as he walked into the dark house.
