The pitter patter of horse's hooves and heavy pants, while trotting on the rocky and muddy trail, were the sounds erupting from the rainforest district.

Their riders-eight in total-were all wearing cloaks and thick clothing to somehow shield their skin from the frigid weather enclosing the forest. For by this month, the dawn's temperature was set to be extremely chilly, causing people's body trembling and their hands shivering from the intense cold.

Yet despite wearing them, our daring heroine could still feel the frigidity of the weather. Her body was uncontrollably quivering, while her nose was runny and red from her previous scratching.

While riding her horse, Lisa's mind was yet again clouded with her scrambled thoughts like the earlier days. Only this time, it was all about her uncle.

An hour after the surprise visit of their enraged landlord, Lalisa's uncle suddenly passed out. Extremely terrified and worried, she immediately went into the home of their village doctor, Mr.Kwon to check her fainted uncle. The doctor told her that the cause of Joon-Woo's fainting was because of him encountering an intense emotional stress, and she quickly believed the man for they are for sure going through a lot of stress.

After the doctor left, Joon-Woo then gained consciousness. Lisa felt relieved with that, yet it was momentarily lived for Joon-Woo asked her the question,

"Where are you going to get the money from?" It dazzled her for a bit, but she swiftly returned to normal and said, "I found a job at the market and it the pays a quite large amount. And I was planning on working first thing in the morning to make it higher."

She told him lies. And poor and clueless Joon-Woo took her bait. As the night came, Joon-Woo slept early in his bed to rest his weary self. As for Lisa, she packed the essentials in her satchel and quickly fled from her home.

And in that night, all was settled. She was going to obtain the money. Even if she has to include her hand going inside a wealthy pocket.

Lisa was then brought back from her trance, when Jaebum who was in front, halted his horse from it's tracks.

"We'll temporarily stop here to take rest. We might get sick in this cold temperature before we even arrive." He announced. And the group went down on their saddles and went to an open space.

Unmounting her own horse, Lisa grabbed her packed satchel and took her lukewarm water. Something to warm her insides from the icy weather. Going on a nearby log, she sat there while she watches the boys make their fire.

As soon as the gathered twigs and leaves are litted, smoke took off and warmth enwrapped the atmosphere. Placing her palms closely to the flames, she unloosened her knotted and frozen nerves that began to ease. As she was doing so, other's did their own business.

Bambam and Yugyeom were immaturely quarreling for who gets to drink first at Jackson's brought flask, while the said male was laughing at them. Mark on the other hand, was taking a nap at a rock, and the rest were like her, warming themselves up on the made fire.

Minutes passed, and Lisa felt someone sitting beside her. Snapping her head to her right side, she saw Jaebum giving her a small smile. "Sorry if we have to drag you into all of this." He started, as he stared at her with an apologetic look.

Shaking her head, she responded, "You shouldn't be sorry. You were all just helping me from the mess I made. I should be the one who's sorry. Because I'm nothing here but a burden here that all of you are going to carry."

Silence occupied their space for a brief minute, when Jaebum queried, "Why?"

Lisa was left confuse at his question, so Jaebum repeated, precisely stating his query. "Why are you tagging along with us? I was pretty sure that you weren't going, all of us did. So I was very perplexed when you came and I'm totally wondering why." He explained and Lisa looked at the flare coming off from the fire.
