The radiant sun that took over the day has now finally reached it's peak and is now in the process of coming down.
In unison with the sun setting, the skies up above are now painted in the colors of pink, orange and yellow all combined. The once busy crowd pooling the plaza earlier has now decreased in number as the streetlight scattered are now lit. For the productive day is being slowly replaced by the calming night.
However, the palace of Cyria is nothing similar with the word calm.
The regal castle is in a restless condition, that it can now be compared to a marketplace due to their staffs' chaotic and frantic state. The once wide halls are now overly crowded, everybody is in a haste, and frenzied voices fills the room as they all yell from different parts of the kingdom.
"They're not in the garden!"
"They're not in the west wing!"
"They're not in the library!"
"They're not in the bathroom!"
"They're not in the pantry!"
A young lad shouted as he went to search at the pantry and secretly took a grape he saw on one of the shelves to somehow diminish the hunger he is feeling.
Curious with the staff's behavior?
Well, earlier this afternoon, as the royal family are about to take their scheduled afternoon meal together, the King first hailed a maid to fetch their guest, Lalisa, in her room and inform her that their lunch is now prepared. After minutes of waiting, the door finally opened wide.
Yet instead of seeing a familiar blonde maiden walking down to her chair, it was opened by the same maid the King called earlier. Her face was contoured into panic as she proclaimed that the Second Prince's fiancée is not in her chambers and is no where to be seen.
And hearing this, the King immediately stood up from his seat like his pants are on fire and ordered the maid to fetch Jungkook. Yet again, the maid said the same thing that left the King appalled and furious. Enraged equally like a dragon, to the point that he commanded every staff of the palace to search for them and to leave no stone unturned. If nobody finds them, no one is allowed to sleep nor eat.
So that explains why everybody's in such a hectic pace and why the man just took a grape and used it as his temporary meal. It has been 4 hours since the King announced it and the staff are now all weary and famished.
At this moment, every staff can do nothing but just pray for a miracle that the two would just show up to bring an end to their suffering. Especially a specific blonde male who's guilt is slowly eating him alive.
Jimin is officially worried right now. And he couldn't stop himself but to just heave a deep sigh as he blames himself for this dilemma. If he just remembered sooner that Jungkook utterly sucks at directions, nobody would be dragged in this mess. 'Damn it. Should've just arranged a date between them instead of making them lost in the middle of the woods.'
As the Prince silently sulks in the corner and let his mind be occupied by concern, a pair of feline eyes zeroes in on him as the owner of those familiar orbs now has a strong hunch on why the two are now nowhere to be seen.
Oh how they wish that both of them are fine.
