jungkook spluttered helplessly, eyes shooting across the room in hope of someone helping him out. his eyes locked with jimin's, and the younger never wanted to rip out his eyes more than in that moment.

jimin sat there, eyes glued onto jungkooks, a smile starting to shape on his stupidly perfect face. jungkook shook his head and stared at the floor, deciding what to do in this moment. he should have expected this, what was he thinking? joining in a game of truth or dare with your crush? the result was inevitable, yet he still decided to. a part of him knew he wanted this to happen, but the stubborn side of jungkook got the best of him.

moments had passed and the younger had made his decision.

"no".

everyone cocked up an eyebrow at the response. jungkook heaved up a sigh and looked up, fearful to see the reaction of the silver-haired boy.

bad idea.

as soon as the youngest looked up, everyone bursted out into laughter, including jimin. the others must have read the confusion in jungkook face as seokjin attempted to speak through the laughs that he couldn't control.

"why is everyone laughing? it's not funny!" the younger whined, feeling as though he as being made fun of.

"no one expected that, that's all" seokjin was able to squeeze out in between his heaving.

jungkook huffed and picked up his phone. he mumbles a low 'fuck you' to everyone in the room, and scrolls through instagram for the rest of the night, occasionally looking up and trying to contain his laughter if something funny happens. sulking has always been a bad habit of jungkook, but no matter what, he just couldn't help it. everyone found it cute, and often poked fun at it though, so deep down he was grateful that no one felt angered or tired of him.

finally when the night came to an end, everyone was said their goodbyes and left the door one by one.

jungkook stared at the doorway, watching all his friends step out, specifically staring at one particular boy, who just so happened to be the last one to leave.

so, when jungkook was certain that the others were out of his house, he grabbed jimins wrist as delicately as he could and locked their lips together.

it didn't last long, only a few seconds even. just a quick kiss, but it felt like hours were rushing past.

when jungkook moved away, face red with embarrassment and regret, he saw jimin smiling and all the worries flooded away.

"goodnight kookie, i had a great time".

and with one last hug and a kiss stolen by jimin, we was out the door, waving at jungkook through the window.

jungkook already couldn't wait for the next time he saw him.
