Draze
My eyes were closed. In the back of my mind, I was thinking about the necessities to formalize the execution of a pledge that was forged out, as I found it bullshit in the first place. I frowned, pissed about why would I need to let off a steam outside the estate. I bit back a growl as I scoured my brain for some useful formulated plans, but found none of the sort — my mind was going haywire. A sudden deceleration of the car caused me to breathe a huge sigh of relief, I've been inside of this car for almost 3 hours now. I snapped my eyes open, but my legs remained stretched out comfortably, as Kol, my third in command parked the vehicle.
I made my way through the private entrance. Kol quickly followed me inside—running, I smirked enjoying the opportunity to goad him. Since the idea of coming here wasn't from my choosing.
Entering the mass of humans, lights flashed through my vision as I saw every woman grinding into random guys, kissing the side of their neck, and they were stopping because...
They saw me?
What the fuck?!
Suddenly, I felt a pair of hands grab my arms. A dozen of them actually. In an instant, they were all gone. Compelled.
I was a Vampire. King of all the Bloodline Vampires.
"Hey, those were hot chics. Come on just try to let off a little steam," Kol always the voice of unusual semblance, forced me to come along with him to play. Considering he's already 256 years of age, he doesn't seem to grow up.
Kol was created by me many centuries ago.
And I've spent almost 700 years living in this pathetic world. I was the son of King Zandrous and Queen Ysabelle. Father was known as the first vampire and mother was the first woman he got to turn into. After I was born, it was time they recruited a willing participant to be part of my Father's Kingdom. Until my father died many years ago.
"You find them hot?" my voice dripped with sarcasm. "Are you quite certain, I will enjoy the night in a deafening club? Make sure the potential outcome you are hoping for, won't lead straight to your perfect ending. You know I hate noise. Really, Kol. Try to guess, will I find it necessary to warn you to run off before I kill you or not?" I mocked.
Tension radiated through his shoulders. He studied me intently. After a few seconds passed by, he snorted, "Oh, please. You told me not to treat you as a King when we are on the mortal ground. You even said, even inside of the estate—"
"Shut the fuck up!" He immediately held his hands in the air. I pushed my thoughts away and watched the chaos around me with calmly folded arms.
Watching the dance floor that filled with dancing donkey, seductively — except for one woman.
She doesn't seem to enjoy the night because she was glaring through the mass of people. Like her doll had been ruined by some clad on the dance floor. She looks cute when she glared like that.
She walked through the direction of the table almost 20 feet away from her. She looked around as if she was expecting someone.
Until her gaze found mine.
The fury in her eyes was strong enough to burn someone.
But not me.
I was quite certain, she was feisty.
She's perfect for tonight.
I baded my throbbing fangs that had been deployed by her scrutiny. She seemed to be confused at her reaction. She halted in her steps for a few seconds and then began walking again.
