AFTER LIKE FIVE MINUTES OF STARING AT THE diamond, Jungkook sighed heavily. He looked at the door she just left from—I hate it. He thought, clenching his hands. When people asked him for answers, when they asked for her.

He couldn't say she's dead—he couldn't expect it. He flinched, realising she left.

"Oh God."

He muttered, checking his pockets before he realised he just came out from shower. He walked to his room, picking up his phone from the bedside table, Mr Kim, he quickly clicked call, pressing the phone against his ear.

"Yes sir." He paused for a second, "Haerin is gone, so find her."

With a shuddering body, I walked onto the pavement, holding both my shoulders tightly. I looked down, only at the path, my hair were scattered all over my back and face, hiding my appearance. I couldn't even distinguish my own tears in this rain anymore.

My feet were getting red, "I messed up, now dad will again have to go into that rusty hospital." I said, disappointed at myself. I felt bad about my father, who was struggling throughout the days and nights, and I couldn't do anything.

I winced when I felt something sharp dig into my foot, I bent down, looking at my foot. A small piece of glass was pierced through my skin, the red blood rushing down, mixing with the rain and mud as it reached the ground. I groaned, my hand trembling as I reached out to it, my eyes closed shut, and I pulled it out from my foot.

As I threw it away, I sighed, "It's so cold." I said to myself, hugging my body, something told me that I was here because of my own curiosity. I shouldn't have tried to get into his life. I sighed,

"Everything ends like this." I rolled my eyes as I got up from he muddy ground, the ends of the dress I was wearing were dirty and muddy, but I didn't care.

I walked forward, my toenails curling in pain as I stumbled, holding a streetlight pole for support. I looked up when I heard a loud honk from beside me.

"It's wrong Jungkook, it's only natural if she gets curious about herself, it's your fault for not telling her everything." Jimin scolded through the phone. "It's all messed up." Jungkook explained, knitting his brows.

"Then you're done. If she doesn't come back, then her family will probably report you and you'll spend the rest of your life in priso—"

Jungkook frantically cut him, "She doesn't have a family." Jimin returned to being silent. "She just has a father, who is sick and in a hospital. He's also the only reason she married me, but that's not the point here." He reminded, Jimin groaned. "Just get to know her a little, maybe it'll be better if you try and be a little gentle to her."

Jungkook licked his dry lips off, "I don't know if I can do that, I get too close, like you know—" Jimin cut him  "I don't know if I'm drunk, but from what I see..you kind of like..cage her in." Jimin said, shaking his head. "What?" Jungkook asked monotonously.

"Nevermind."

Jimin sighed. "Look, what are you going to do if she doesn't come back?" He asked, Jungkook pressed his lips together in a thin line. "I'll have to find her, I just have to." He ran hand through his hair.

"You're kind if way too confident for something you did."

Before Jungkook could say anything else, he heard the passcode being inserted, "Well," He rolled his eyes,

"Who cares?"
