❝You Don't Know Me❞
_________

WITH SHAKING LEGS, he walked to the door, opening it. His eyes were fixed on you who was on the counter.

"Welcome—" Your smile dropped, and your blank look came on. He just stared at you, not able to say anything, he was lost, in you, your eyes. "W-What would you like?" You said when Anna lightly nudged your back, "You." He said, Anna's eyes widened. "That's the biggest flirt I've seen." She muttered with a gulp.

"We don't sell that.." You replied, biting your lips at how you almost laughed. "Coffee." You nodded, "Please take a seat." You said, looking down at the counter. He flinched a little when you intentionally poked him, blinking as he went to one of the seats, plopping down.

Anna placed the coffee on his table, "You're the biggest flirt." She muttered, "Is she your girlfriend?"

"She's my wife." He said, fixing his mask. "You look rich. I wonder why she's working here." Anna muttered, walking back to the counters. "What are you doing here?" You asked while cleaning his table.

He looked at your finger, where there was a bandage. "I missed you." He said, gripping your hand. "Wh—What are you doing?" You gritted your teeth, trying to pry your hands off his touch. "Are you hurt? Is it because of me?" He asked, making you clench your jaw. "Yes, it is." You said, pulling your hand back. "Please just...leave." You said, sighing.

He smiled. "I don't have a reason to." You growled, "You don't have a reason to be in my life too." You walked away, angry and sad.

And there, he came many times. For two weeks, he just sat there whenever he was free, watching you with a smile, and whenever he was asked to leave, he ordered coffee. Whenever anyone of you or Anna were being harassed in any type, he would always save you two. He even volunteered to help sometimes.

Anna never denied him, because he was a bonus point for her, and little did she know, that he loved you.

Unusually, you became used to it. He became a habit too.

He smiled when he saw you. You must have gotten off work early today, however, he found something weird about your posture, as if you were stumbling and wobbling. Your clothes were unusual too, he never saw you wear all black, you were wearing black jeans and a black jacket, it seemed kind of old and faded, but he didn't judge, almost slapping himself for such a weird thought. He knitted his eyebrows.

Getting out of his car, he walked to you, lightly patting your shoulder. You flinched at his touch, turning around. His eyes widened a little at the wounds around your eyes and lips, he noticed the blood on your clenched hands.

"Haerin...what happened?" He asked, breath taken away because your form. "Loan sharkers." You sighed, wiping your lips a little. "Did they..hit you?" You made a weird face, shaking your head. You reached out for your pocket, taking out a bundle of money.

He gasped, "Did you do...prost—" You slapped him, eyes wide. "Pervert! No!" You yelled, flustered and angry from such a miserable guess. "I got hit and beaten up people for it." You said, he knitted his eyebrows, finally understanding. "You went to that place? Where they give money for boxing?" You nodded.

"You don't seem that way.." He muttered. "There are many things you don't know about me. Well, you don't know anything about me." You replied, voice cracking. "What are you doing here anyway?" You asked, cracking your hand lightly with a groan. "I came to see you."

"Well now you saw me, bye." He grabbed your hand when you started to leave. "You're not happy with this, getting hit and hitting." You pulled your hand out of his grip, "I did this ever since I was sixteen, don't interfere with my life anymore."

He was about to say something when he noticed that your bandage got ripped off from the edge of his watch. "Just..leave." You said, annoyed and pulled the bandage off, revealing a healing scar. You threw it in the trash can nearby, sighing.

"I never knew...that you suffered so much." You scoffed, turning to meet his eyes. "You never knew anything about my suffering." He quickly interrupted, "I want to."

You scoffed, walking back to him. "You like me only because I look like Seran, you don't love me because I'm Haerin, you see your Seran in me, you don't...even know me personally." Poking his chest, you laughed a little. "Six months, I know nearly everything about you, well, that's what I think, but you...don't know anything about me. What kind of love is that?"

He froze, he didn't have an answer to that. "Right? So go away. When you don't know me, how'll you love me?"
