By the time Forth woke up the next morning, only Ming and Wayo were there... Pha was gone, Kit was gone, and Beam was gone. Pha and Kit left a note but Beam just took his things and left without saying anything.
"They leave?" Ming asked noticing the three troublemakers were gone.
"Yeah, They're class started an hour ago," Wayo said yawning and cuddling up with a teddy bear that Pha brought him last night.
"How'd you end up over there? I thought you were next to me?" Ming asked Forth seeing him on the cot Beam slept on.
"I ended up with Beam, we talked last night and he passed out so I brought him back in here and I guess I fell asleep with him," Forth said and Ming nodded understanding.
"Just stay away from him, I don't want you hurt," Ming said and got up going to his closet to get dressed, Wayo went to take a shower and Forth grabbed his bag leaving the dorm and walking down to his.
As Forth was walking up to his dorm he notcied Beam laying outside of his on the floor, blood coming from his nose and lip, and brusies forming on his face and body. His clothes were ripped up, overall he was just beat up and not in good shape at all.
Forth debated for a few minutes whether or not he should help Beam... But he ultimately decided not to when he saw Beam waking up, get up, and go inside his dorm room. Beam didnt even notice that the older was watching him.
"What an odd kid," Forth thought as he walked into his dorm and fell face first on his bed to get some rest before his classes start.
* in Beam's dorm *
"Ugh..." Beam groaned and fell onto his bed, but quickly sat back up feeling the blood drip down his face.
He did the only smart thing he could think of. He texted Kit for help.

Beam honestly didn't remember anything from the passed 3 hours. He left with Pha and Kit to class and then started walking home when he was knocked out and woke up in front of his dorm room.
* 3 months later - at the coffee shop *
"Beam, you're shaking, what's wrong?" Beam's boss asked putting her hand on Beam's shoulder. Beam shook her hand off and shook his head.
"I'm alright, just tired," Beam mumbled and kept working. Clearly something was wrong but he wouldn't tell her.
Beam's been sober for 3 months now and its hurting him a lot actually. His body is so used to the drugs that he can't function without them.
