(3rd Person POV.)

[ Forth's Dorm Room ]

"I fucked up big time," Forth mumbled as him, Wayo, Pha, Ming, and Kit were hanging out at his dorm room.

"You think? You broke Beam!" Wayo said since everyone else had their mouths full with dinner.

"On the brightside... I've never seen him this happy before... It's creeping me out," Pha said and Kit nodded agreeing.

"Mai's cheered him up a lot, he's the good influence Beam needs right now," Kit said and Forth was confused.

"Mai?" Forth asked

"Beam's doctor, they're really close friends now honestly," Pha said and Kit nodded.

"If things work out with Aei and Jo later on Mai will be part of his famliy, since he's Jo's brother-in-law," Kit said and Pha nodded.

"Forth, did you know that Tin was going hurt Beam? Or was that something he never talked about?" Wayo asked while eating a cookie and leaning on Pha.

"I didn't even know Tin worked there till Beam told me what happened, and Tin isn't a nurse, he's a veterinarian, so I don't know what he was doing with the rehab place..." Forth said shocking everyone.

"I'm sure the cops will talk to Beam about it soon and then he'll tell us about it," Kit said.

"But... Why'd you play with him like that? Especially when he's not in a good place right now," Wayo asked and Forth shook his head.

"Tin and I weren't dating when I went on that date with Beam, we broke up months ago it's just he needed and place to live so he kept staying with me, we've been broken up since April, so no, I'm not a cheater, and I didn't mess with Beam, he just wouldn't let me explain that we had broken up," Forth said.

"Why didn't you tell us you broke up?" Ming asked getting up and hugging Forth.

"Tin wouldn't let me tell... He wanted people to know that I was taken, while he went out every night with a new girl, he wanted to keep me away from everyone, wanted me to himself even if we weren't dating." Forth said and kept eating his dinner, ramen and chicken.

"Tin's the one that you've been with for 3 years right?" Ming asked and Forth nodded.

"Forth, is he the one that... Ya know....?" Ming asked, only Forth and Ming knew what was being talked about, everyone else was confused.

"Hm....yeah," Forth nodded and Ming looked pissed.

"We need to talk later." Ming said to Forth and Forth nodded. The tension in the air was thick, (not as thicc as--- ya know what ill keep my mouth shut 😂).

"Um.. Any way, I'm gonna go call Beam, he's been stuck in a hospital room with his mom for more than 5 hours, I'm sure he's going crazy," Pha said and Kit started laughing.

"The wicked witch is there? Oh that poor baby," Kit said being over dramatic.

"His mom is the literal devil, Aei and Jo had to leave so now he's stuck with his mom," Pha said and Kit just kept laughing.

"What's so bad about his mom?" Wayo asked and Pha just shook his head.

"You don't wanna know the stuff that goes down in their house. Let's just say it's a.... Cinderella situation..." Kit said and Pha nodded and left to call Beam.

- 1 year later -  The Day Beam Leaves the Hospital -

"Hey. If I see you come back here for ANY reason, I will not hesitate to kick you out," Mai joked with Beam as Beam, Pha, and Kit were walking out of the hospital.

"I come back next week for a drug-test, you gonna kick me out then?" Beam asked and was being a tease, he hugged Mai who laughed and pushed Beam off.

"No, cause you're coming to see me," Mai teased back and ruffled Beam's hair.

"Hey, I just fixed that," Kit said and re-did Beam's hair while pouting.

"Anyway, if you pass you're drug test next week the 3 of us can go out for coffee, deal?" Mai asked Beam and held out his pinky.

"Deal, I wanna meet your husband, ask him how he deals with someone like you" Beam said and pinky promised Mai that he'll stay sober.

"Shut up Beamie. See ya later kid," Mai said and waved as the three best friends walked away and to Ming's car where Wayo, Ming, and Forth were waiting for them.

"Beamie!" Wayo yelled and hugged Beam happy to see him for the first time in a few months.

"Hey Yo, ya miss me?" Beam asked ruffling Wayo's hair.

"Yeah," Wayo smiled and then was pulled onto Pha's lap who was silently being jealous of his boyfriend and his best friend.

"Stop being jealous, Wayo isn't Beam's type anyway," Kit said and hit Pha upside the head which made Wayo laugh and kiss Pha.

"I have a type Kit, as long as they have a di---"

"Finish that sentence and I won't hesitate to kick you in yours,"

"I need that, don't kick me,"

"Then shut up,"

"Pha, Kitty's being a meanie," Beam pouted. And pouted more when Pha wouldn't answer because him and Wayo were making out.

"Ming! Kitty's being mean to me," Beam pouted and Ming laughed.

"Babe, back off a bit," Ming said and that got Pha's attention.

"Babe?"

"Kit. Did you get a boyfriend and not tell us?"

"Maybe. Maybe not."

"Yah! No fair,"

"Beam. Focus on your health, then maybe I'll help you get a boyfriend," Kit said and Beam smiled.

"I'm hungry, can we get food?" Beam asked and leaned on Pha's shoulder finally calming down and not being as hyper has he had been. Sober Beam is actually very hyper. He's very active and he's happier now.

"Yeah, what do you want?" Pha asked and Beam looked over at Forth.

"That place you took me to, I like the food there," Beam said and Forth smiled telling Ming where to go.

Forth and Beam are getting along again. They started talking again a couple months ago and so far things have been going great. They aren't dating, they're just really good friends right now.

"Forth, be happy that Beam's happy right now, cause by tomorrow he's gonna be hell, the meds will wear off and he's gonna be whiny and a mess," Kit said once Beam calmed down and started falling asleep on Pha's shoulder.

"Meds?" Forth was confused.

"Anxiety, don't worry Kit has to watch me take them so I don't go over board again." Beam said and Forth nodded. He was sitting in front of Beam, Pha, and Wayo.
Ming and Kit we're up front, and then Forth was sitting in the middle row (its a mini-van)
