[ Forth's Dorm Room ]

Beam's been going through a lot right now. Work's been hell, school's been hell, he's gotten beaten up three times by people he used to buy drugs from. Just everything's a mess. But the only person helping him through the mess is Forth. Forth's been with Beam through everything since he left the hospital and Beam really appreciates that a lot. Pha and Kit have been there too but they've been preoccupied with their boyfriends, Wayo and Ming, to be there for Beam 24/7. But it's ok, Beam wants them to be happy and he's happy with Forth helping him.

Currently Forth was cleaning up Beam's injuries from the latest beating he's received.

"Ow! Don't press so hard," Beam pouted and flinched when Forth pressed too hard on the cut he has on his lip.

"Sorry, I'm trying to be as gentle as I can babe," Forth said and Beam blushed slightly.

They aren't dating, Beam's waiting till he gets stable again, but they aren't friends either. They've slept together a few times, flirt a lot, and act like a couple... But they aren't a couple. Not yet at least.

"Did the bleeding stop?" Beam asked and flinched when Forth kissed his lip quickly.

"Yeah, you alright? Hurt anywhere else?" Forth asked putting his hands on Beam's waist and looking him in the eyes.

"No, just my face," Beam said and wrapped his arms around Forth's neck and hugged him.

Forth smiled and picked Beam up and walked over to the bed so they could cuddle before PhaYo and MingKit showed up for a movie night. Beam smiled and hugged Forth so that he was laying on Forth's chest when they laid down. They laid there for hours not saying anything, just little touches and kisses, smiles and blushes. It was cute, but it was cut short when everyone showed up without knocking.

"Yah! Stop making out," Kit said as he walked in and immedietly saw the 'not-couple' making out on Forth's bed.

"Forth you going too rough on him?" Ming asked and Pha jumped in.

"His lip's bleeding," Pha pointed out and Beam touched his lip, blood on his hand. The cut opened up again.

"It re-opened, I'm gonna clean it again, don't slap me this time," Forth said and got up getting the med kit.

"I will slap you if it hurts, have you learned nothing about me and pain?" Beam said and laughed but stopped because it hurt a lot.

"What happened?" Kit asked and came up to Beam and looked at his busted lip.

"Got beat up, don't worry, they look worse than I do," Beam said and Kit just shook his head.

"Stop fighting," Kit said and slapped Beam's arm, moving out of the way so Forth could help Beam.

"It was Red's gang again," Beam said and Wayo had to hold Pha back.

"I hate them so much," Pha mumbled but sat back down since Wayo told him to.

"Ow! Be careful!" Beam said and hit Forth's shoulder, pretty hard actually.

"Babe, stop hitting me," Forth said and kept cleaning up the cut again. 

"It hurts," Beam pouted and leaned forward, his forehead on Forth's shoulder.

"It shouldn't hurt that badly," Forth said and hugged Beam.

"Put some ice on it, now stop whining and sit with me!!!" Kit said being cute and holding his arms out for Beam.

"Fine," Beam pouted and got an ice pack before sitting next to Kit on the floor.

"Hung out with Mai and his husband yet?" Kit asked and Beam shook his head.

"Mai's waiting till he has a day off, and waiting till their daughter comes home," Beam said and that confused Kit.

"They have a daughter?" Kit asked and Beam nodded.

"Adopted, she's just slightly younger than Aei, she's been at school all year and is finally coming home sometime next month," Beam said and Kit nodded.

- 2 weeks later -

Beam's been at work for 7 hours and is tired. Today hasn't been as shitty has it has been recently but it's been shitty.

"Hey Beamie," Forth said coming in after his class was over.

"Hey, same thing?" Beam asked and got up from where he was sitting behind the counter to make Forth's order.

"Yeah," Forth smiled and was about to pay but Beam stopped him.

"It's fine, I get free stuff since I've worked here for so long," Beam said.

"Let me tip you?" Forth asked and Beam shook his head.

"Take me out to dinner instead? Pha's paying," Beam said and Forth nodded.

"You got a deal there babe," Forth said and kept talking to Beam while he was making the iced coffee and getting 2 chocolate muffins.

"You want one?" Forth asked when Beam brought out the order.

"Sure, Hanie! I'm going on break!" Beam yelled to the guy working in the kitchen who nodded and came out front to take orders.

Beam and Forth sat down at a table near the back of the shop and just talked during Beam's break.

"How was class?" Beam asked while eating the muffin Forth gave him.

"Pretty funny, Ming kept getting stuck in the machines," Forth said and showed a video to Beam of Ming getting his arm stuck.

"What the hell?" Beam asked while laughing and Forth just shook his head.

"I don't know," Forth said also laughing.

"Beam! Get back to work!" Beam's manager yelled not even five minutes after Beam's break started.

Beam sighed and got up, "I gotta go... See you back at the dorm?" Beam asked and Forth nodded getting up and hugging Beam.

"Call me, I'll pick you up after your shift," Forth said and hugged the smaller and kissed his cheek before leaving.

Beam just blushed and went back to work.

"Boyfriend?" Hanie asked and Beam said no.

"Not yet at least... I'm waiting till I get somewhat back to normal before focussing on my love-life," Beam said and Hanie nodded.

"You gotta make him yours before someone else does Beamie," Hanie said and put his arm around the smaller.

"I know, I will... I just don't know when..." Beam sighed and got back to work when his manager yelled again.
