6. The accident

Hyungwon sat in the flower shop, listening to music. He looked again out of the window, admiring the nature. He was really calm that day. Nothing was difficult, everything seemed to be moving smoothly. Hyungwon noticed a customer, who came in.

"Good morning." He greeted the customer, smiling.

The woman smiled at him. She was an older woman, but seemed really trendy.

"Hey sweetie." She said. "can you help me?"

"Of course." Hyungwon responded.

The woman grinned suspiciously. "Great, I need an orchid." She said. "A big one, please."

Hyungwon nodded and walked to see the orchids. "We have a lot here, have a look and say which one's pleases you the most." He said and the woman walked next to him and started looking at the flowers.

"I like this one." She said and pointed at the biggest one.

"Great." Hyungwon said and took the flower. "Do you want it wrapped or maybe a holder?"

The woman nodded. "Do you have pots?"

"Yes we do. They're over here." Hyungwon said and showed her the selection.

"Oh, they're very pretty." The woman picked up one and looked at it closely. "I want this one."

Hyungwon nodded again and turned to walk to the counter. The woman was very quiet and Hyungwon was about to turn to look, but then something hit his head. The pieces of the pot flew to the floor, and Hyungwon fell down. He touched his head and looked at his hand. There was blood. Hyungwon noticed the woman opening the cash register and taking out everything.

He tried to stand up, but he was about to lose consciousness. The woman looked at him once more and then ran out, with the money and the orchid. Hyungwon tried to get up again, but he couldn't. He took his phone out of his pocket and called the emergency number. He tried to explain the situation, but before he could finish, he lost consciousness.

Kihyun was on his way to see Hyungwon. He wanted to buy flowers for his home, maybe roses or tulips. He was almost in the shop when he heard the sound of police and ambulance sirens. He didn't care about it first, but when he saw the shop and the police car and the ambulance in front of it, he got worried.

Kihyun ran there and looked inside the window. Hyungwon sat on the shop's floor and the paramedic examined his head. Kihyun ran past the police and went inside.

"Hyungwon! Are you okay? What happened?" Kihyun asked as he approached the long boy sitting on the floor.

"Ah... it's hard to explain." Hyungwon sighed.

"Do you have any pain?" The paramedic asked him.

Hyungwon shook his head. "Or a little, but I can go to the hospital myself later."

"I suggest you go immediately. It seems that you may have a concussion." The paramedic told him.

"I'll take him." Kihyun said quickly. "I promise."

"Good, we'll go now." The paramedic smiled and left.

"Hyungwon... explain this." Kihyun demanded.

Hyungwon tried to stand up, but he hissed loudly and put his hand onto his head. Kihyun sighed and sat down next to him.

"An older woman came in and she was going to buy an orchid... but when I turned around to walk to the counter she hit me with a pot and took all the money and the flower. I guess I got robbed." Hyungwon said.

"Christ... you got hit with a pot? Does it hurt?" Kihyun looked at Hyungwon's head and noticed the blood in his hair. "Oh my goodness. We're going to the hospital right fucking now."
