8. The offer

Hyungwon felt warmth beside him, and it was strange, but breathing that he heard was even stranger. He opened his eyes and had to close them immediately, due to sunlight that penetrated the room. Hyungwon tried again and this time his eyes got used to the light.

He looked beside him and sighed in relief as he realized it was Changkyun. Hyungwon yawned and looked around. The sun peeked through the flowers on the window sill.

His eyes hit a person, sleeping on the armchair and he got frightened. Who was it? Hyungwon got up, gently moving Changkyun aside. He walked up to the person sleeping in the armchair.

Suddenly the person jolted up and Hyungwon jumped backwards.

"Ah! Who..." The person turned around and Hyungwon finally recognized him.

"W-wonho?"

"Oh... sorry." Wonho apologized and got up from the chair.

Hyungwon shook his head. "No, I'm sorry. I didn't recognize you first, so I wanted to check who it was."

Wonho smiled. "Yeah, I'm sorry I stayed without asking you first, but you fell asleep."

"Oh yeah... I got tired."

"It's fine." Wonho grinned. "Want some breakfast?"

Hyungwon was speechless. Wonho offered to make him breakfast?

"Uh, sure..."

Wonho went to the kitchen and opened the fridge. "Shownu brought you a lot of food yesterday. Eggs and bacon?"

Hyungwon nodded and walked to the table, turning the radio on. He sat down. Wonho again hummed a song as he started preparing the food. Hyungwon watched the plants that were in front of the window. The breeze blew from the window.

"Who opened the window?" Hyungwon suddenly asked.

Wonho paused for a moment and turned to look at him. "I think Kihyun opened it."

"Oh, makes sense..." Hyungwon hummed.

"How so?"

"Kihyun is the only one who knows, that I like to keep the window open in the mornings." Hyungwon explained.

Wonho smiled, but Hyungwon didn't see it. "That's nice."

"Did he leave?"

Wonho nodded. "Yeah, Kihyun and Shownu left already. Kihyun had to go to the café and Shownu went home."

Hyungwon stood up and walked toward his room. "Don't worry, I'll just go change my clothes." He said before walking away.

Wonho was surprised, about how well they got along. He thought Hyungwon would be uncomfortable with him, but it seemed that the boy was in a good mood.

After a while, Changkyun got up. He rubbed his eyes and looked around.

"Morning, I made breakfast." Wonho smiled and placed plates on the table.

Changkyun looked at him. "Oh... did I fall asleep?"

"Yep, next to Hyungwon." Wonho replied.

Changkyun sighed and walked to the table, sitting down. "Where is he?"

"Changing his clothes." Wonho smiled and sat down too.

Changkyun nodded and took a cup of coffee, sipping it.

"What do you think... does he get angry if I suggest me living here?" Wonho asked quietly.

Changkyun only laughed. "Nope. We won't."

Wonho raised an eyebrow.

"If you're the one he was talking about, he'll be very happy about it." Changkyun explained.

"Oh... "

Just then Hyungwon came back. He smiled and sat at the table next to Changkyun.

"Please, go ahead." Wonho said and pointed at the food on the table.

"Thank you." Hyungwon smiled and placed food on his plate.

Changkyun did the same and started eating.

"So..." Hyungwon started. "Where do I live?"

"Here." Changkyun said. "But I'm sorry. I can't live with you... I have too much work."

"It's alright. I can call my mother or father and ask them." Hyungwon said, but the disappointment was clear in his voice.

"No. You don't need to." Changkyun quickly added.

Hyungwon looked at him questioningly.

"If Wonho lives here."

"............. What???"

Changkyun looked at Wonho, then Hyungwon. "I mean..."

"If it's okay with you." Wonho smiled at Hyungwon. "I don't have a job right now, so I can look after you." He said.

Hyungwon wanted to scream. This had to be a dream. Or Kihyun has influenced this.

"I... uh, sure..." Hyungwon mumbled, his face slowly turning red.

"Great, so that's done." Changkyun smiled and continued eating.

Hyungwon glanced at Wonho, who smiled at him. Hyungwon quickly looked at his plate and continued to eat. This couldn't be real.
