Hyungwon sat on the hospital bed, looking out of the window. He had a bandage around his head. His head wasn't hurting much, but he was tired. He looked around for his phone but didn't see it anywhere. He sighed, he had wanted to see if his boss had called or messaged him.
Just then the door opened and Kiyhun, Shownu and Wonho came in.
"Hey... how are you feeling?" Kihyun asked and walked up to him.
Hyungwon smiled slightly. "Fine, a little tired."
"Listen... I talked to the doctor and she said that you shouldn't go to work for a week." Kihyun started. "She said it would be better for you to take it easy."
"Okay, that's not a problem. My boss is really chill about these kind of things." Hyungwon said, nodding.
"But that's not all." Kihyun looked at his eyes. "She said you have to live with someone for a while."
Hyungwon seemed amused. "Right. So I should go up to my parents and say that I failed at my life and I need their help? No thanks." He said, sounding annoyed.
"You don't need to go to your parents." Wonho suddenly said. "I'm sure one of your friends can move in with you for that short time."
Hyungwon was speechless. He didn't understand why Wonho was there.
"Yes, that's true." Kihyun agreed. "I can ask Changkyun and Minhyuk."
"Not Minhyuk." Hyungwon said quickly. "He's way too loud and hyper."
Kihyun started laughing. "Well yeah... I get you." He said. "Oh and by the way. These are my new friends. This is Shownu and Wonho."
Hyungwon smiled slightly, but he was too tired to be happy.
"Hi, we meet again." Shownu said smiling. "I hope we can be good friends."
Kihyun smiled. He liked that Hyungwon would get more friends. "Let's get you home now." He said.
"Sure." Hyungwon smiled and stood up.
His legs were weak, but when Kihyun put Hyungwon's hand around his shoulder, he managed to stand. They walked out. Soon Hyungwon opened his home's door and Kihyun, Shownu and Wonho looked at his home excitedly.
"Wow, you have a wonderful home." Shownu said and helped Hyungwon on the couch.
"Thank you." Hyungwon said, sighing deeply.
Kihyun walked to Hyungwon's fridge and looked inside. "Someone has to go shopping. You have absolutely no food."
"Well, I can go..." Shownu said. "I have a car."
"It would be great, thank you." Hyungwon smiled.
Shownu walked to the door. "I'll bring you something. See you later." He then left.
Kihyun nodded. "Okay, I'm going to visit the cafe... I'll ask Changkyun if he can move in with you." He said.
"Oh... I really don't need anyone." Hyungwon said.
"You do." Kihyun hissed. "The doctor said that there's a possibility that you may have more symptoms... It could get worse." He said. "What happens if you faint or something? You will just get a stroke and no one knows anything..."
Hyungwon no longer bothered to argue against him and he just nodded.
"So... I will ask him." Kihyun smiled gently. "Wonho, can you be here for a little while?" He asked Wonho.
Wonho nodded, smiling. "Of course."
Kihyun left. Now they sat alone on Hyungwon's couch. They didn't talk, they just looked around. Hyungwon remembered that he had to water all the plants so he suddenly got up, but regretted it immediately. He was dizzy.
Wonho noticed it and quickly grabbed Hyungwon's hand and helped him back to the couch.
"Be careful." Wonho said. "I see that you're not feeling very well."
"Ah... I just." Hyungwon sighed. "I need to water the plants."
"I can do it for you." Wonho said and got up. "Where's the watering can?"
Hyungwon pointed at the wooden table. "There."
Wonho walked to the table, took the can and filled it with water. Then he went around the room and watered all the plants. Hyungwon could not help but smile at the scene in front of him. Wonho hummed a song as he put away the can and walked back to Hyungwon.
"Anything else I can do?" He asked.
Hyungwon raised his hands up and waved them. "No need to. I can do some stuff later."
"Oh, I'm more than glad to help." Wonho said.
"Well... you could turn on the radio."
Wonho nodded and obeyed him. He walked up to the cute and small radio and turned it on. A summery song started playing and Hyungwon closed his eyes.
Wonho watched him. This moment, it seemed like a dream. They were alone together, in Hyungwon's apartment, which was very bright and cozy. Wonho enjoyed it.
Soon Wonho looked at Hyungwon again, and he noticed the boy to be asleep. Wonho smiled and took a blanket from the armrest and laid it carefully on top of Hyungwon. . He sat down at the kitchen table, looking out the window and listening to the music.
He dreamed for a moment and imagined living with Hyungwon. He would wake up early in the morning, prepare breakfast and wake up Hyungwon. They would sit at the table, watching the sun rise and listen to the radio. They would say goodbye to each other, when they both left for work and would smile, when they came back home.
Wonho came out of his dreams when the door opened. Kihyun and Changkyun came in.
"Where is he?" Changkyun asked, sounding worried.
Wonho placed his finger on his lips and smiled. "He's sleeping on the couch."
Changkyun looked at the couch and sighed. "Oh gosh... what do we do, Kihyun?"
Wonho looked at them, thinking. "You mean, you can't live with him?"
Changkyun nodded. "I have too many shifts to watch him."
"I thought you're under Kihyun." Wonho stated.
"I am, but I work at my mom's place too. She wants me to pay off my debt." Changkyun explained. "It's a little embarrassing, but while in high school I had to take a loan... so I still have a lot to pay."
Wonho nodded. "What are you going to do?"
"I can't watch him either." Kihyun admitted. "Running a café, isn't the easiest job. I have to be there over five days of the week."
This became difficult. Wonho was too deep in his thoughts, to hear Kihyun suggest something.
"So? Wonho?" Kihyun asked.
"W-what?" Wonho shook his head slightly and looked at him. "What was it?"
"I asked, are you able to look after him?" Kihyun smiled sneakily.
Wonho glanced at sleeping Hyungwon. "I... don't know. We don't really know each other well."
"Yet." Kihyun corrected.
Changkyun eyed both of them. "What is this?" He asked.
"What do you mean?" Kihyun responded.
"What is this tension?"
Kihyun only snickered quietly. "Wonho is the creep Hyungwon was talking about."
Changkyun's mouth opened wide. He looked at Kihyun and Wonho alternately, with a small smile creeping up on his face.
"No way..." He whispered.
"Yes way." Kihyun grinned.
Wonho frowned. "I'm not a creep..." He pouted.
"That's so funny." Changkyun added.
Kihyun nodded, but then turned back to Wonho. "So... what do you think? Could you move in with him for a week?"
Wonho wanted to say yes, but he wasn't sure. "Let's ask Hyungwon first, okay?"
