as you allow the media to paint us with words like
"terrorists"
"violent bin laden"
"criminals"
as of covering up for my religion
is an act of terrorism itself
you act as if we're the terrorists
but really
your the ones terrorizing us
telling us to go home as if we weren't born in the same country
when will you stop paining us over with a brush called discrimination?
when will you stop colouring us in with the colours of generalization?
and when will you stop washing us out with the unbelievable concept of islamophobia?
when will be stop terrorizing girls wearing her headscarf?
as they walk to school in a rush worried some islamophobic man will attempt to rip it off her head
when will we stop terrorizing the boys who wear turbans?
when will we stop terrorizing the women who wear abayas?
when will we stop treating islam a violent religion?
islam is one of the most beautifulest and peaceful religions
so please stop treating it as if it's not
and please stop treating every muslim you see a terrorist

i'm at a loss of words for the events that happened in nz it breaks my heart knowing innocent people were killed in a horrible TERRORIST attack and how the terrorist who killed 49 people are being charged with 1/49 murder a I'm absolutely disgusted thoughts and prayer go out to the victims
it pains me knowing it could of easily been me at mosque and how my religion is being painted as a violent horrible culture when it's the opposite
