"Mommy, is it time yet?" asked Caroline.
"No sweetie, we are leaving in five minutes. We just have to wait for your father to get home," Tris replied to her five year old daughter.
Tris and Tobias were married a year after finishing college, and their oldest child, Natalie, who is now eight was born a year and a half later. A few years after came Caroline and last came Nolan who is now two. Christina and Will have a nine month old baby girl named Clara, Shauna and Zeke have seven year old twins named Adam and Piper, and Marlene and Uriah have a three year old boy named Thomas.
When Tobias gets home from work he is going to pick up Tris and the three kids to go meet all their friends at the movie theater. Caroline suddenly jumps up from her spot at the window where she had been sitting for the last half hour waiting for her father's car to pull into the driveway.
"He's here!" she shouted.
Tobias was barely in the door when he was attacked with hugs from his three children.
"Wow!" he exclaimed ruffling Nolan's hair and returning the hugs. "It's nice to see you too!"
"Who's ready to see Despicable Me 2?" Tris asked.
"Me!" the kids and Tobias yell. Tris laughed and pushed them all out the door.
While the kids ran to the car Tobias turned to Tris and said, "I made a reservation for tomorrow night at your favorite restaurant."
"The Olive Garden?"
"Yes, we are eating at 6:30 while Shauna watches the kids."
"Why are we going to dinner?" Tris questioned. She knew the answer of course, but wanted to make sure he really remembered.
"Because tomorrow is the anniversary of our first date," he replied.
"You remembered!"
They had reached the car now and giving her a quick kiss he answered, "How could I forget? It was the start of the best thing to ever happen to me."
"That was so cheesy, but I accept."
"Alright beautiful, now get in the car. If the kids have to wait for this movie any longer I think they might explode."
Laughing at the kids jumping up and down in their car seats, they drove to the theater together as a family, watched a movie with their friends, and lived happily ever after.
