Tris's POV:
Time skip to July 1st
"Hurry up!" Christina shouts at me while honking the car horn.
"I'm coming!" I yell back as I drag my suitcase out the front door.
Christina and I are going to meet everyone else at the airport. We are all so excited for our trip to Paris. I push the suitcase in the trunk and slam the door shut before hopping into the passenger seat beside Christina.
"Finally!" she says. "I thought we would never leave."
"You didn't have to wait that long!" I reply. "I was just double checking that we have everything."
"Yeah! And going to the bathroom, and making sure the garage door was closed and ..."
"Alright! I get it!" I shout. "Let's just go"
Christina smirks and then we are on our way to the airport.
Four's POV:
By noon the whole group has boarded the plane and we are about to take off. There are two rooms, a bathroom and the cockpit. Everyone else except Tris is in the other room. I can't believe all of our friends get to take Tris's private plane to Paris! Tris's parents keep the plane at the airport and all Tris had to do was hire a pilot to take us to France. I have never been in a plane before and I am nervous about the height. Luckily Tris shut the blinds on the windows, so I don't have to worry about looking outside.
I feel the plane lift off the ground and I grab onto the armrests of the chair. My breathing becomes heavy and I squeeze my eyes shut to try and block everything out. Then I feel Tris unhook my right hand from the chair and grip it tightly. She puts it over her heart while her free hand rests on my cheek.
"Open your eyes Toby," she says barely above a whisper.
I do as she tells me, slowly opening my eyes only to get lost in her captivating grey ones.
"Now breathe when I breathe."
I nod and breathe with her. In, out, in, out. Soon the plane is flying more smoothly. When I am calm Tris stands up from her crouched position in front of me and plops herself down next to me on the couch, snuggling into my side. I put my arm around her and we both fall fast asleep for the rest of the plane ride.
