If you get a little confused on what all those names are, here is a quick summary that you can reference to keep them all "straight" so to speak:
Daisuke- The General's given name, means "great help", the Prince only overheard it once and came up with the nickname below as a child
DaDa –short form of the General's name, pet name, also is a name of affection for an older man (and we all know what it sounds like... hnnnnggghhh)
Da'er -pet name, name of affection for Daisuke
Kōtaishi -Crown Prince
Ōji -Prince
Amai Ōji -sweet prince, affectionate name for the crown prince
Amai Mi -sweet beauty, a pet name for Tomomi
Tomomi -means "knowledge" and "beauty" (can also mean friend and snake with other spelling-lol!)
Mi'er -pet name, name of affection for Tomomi
Kohai -Prince Consort, title for a male spouse of the ruling Emperor or Empress that I dug up
