Eye of the Devil ( Bakugo x reader )

(y/n) carefully slipped on the black bodysuit and attached your belt. The costume was tighter than intended and hugged your curves, practically squeezing you. You had spent all night trying to make it look how you wanted. (honestly just look at the photo on top for a description) You slipped on your boots and put on your final accessories, looking in the mirror the last time before rushing out to meet the other students.

You bolted out the change room and onto the field, being the last one to get there. While lining up with the other students, you immediately noticed the vibrant colours of your peers costumes. You were impressed by many of the costumes your peers had designed.

You grabbed your other arm and nervously looked down. You couldn't shake off the feeling of eyes piercing through you, scanning your whole body. You looked up and noticed Bakugo leering at you from the opposite end of the field. A brief moment of eye contact caught him by surprise. He even let out a "tch" as he walked out of sight.

"Looking good, (y/n)!" Mina exclaimed as you gathered around the students, snapping you out of your thoughts.

Her costume consisted of a teal bodysuit with purple splotches. A creamy, furry vest rested around her neck, matching her equally furry boots. Although the colours didn't exactly go well together, her costume really complimented her toned figure.

"Same to you."

All Might explained that the class was going to be split into villains and heros to fight 2-on-2 indoor battles. The heros were to find and retrieve the bomb the villains had placed while the villains were set to guard it. You were allowed to use your quirk as needed. It sounded like pretty basic training and you were psyched to show your skills.

"On the hero team for the first round we have Midoriya and Uraraka," All Might started off, "with Bakugo and (l/n) on the villain team."

how ironic.

"Good luck with him." Mina nudged your arm, giving you a look of sympathy.

"I think I'll need more than just that."

You looked towards Bakugo who didn't even acknowledge you. Now he stops staring? He was too busy giving Midoriya that same death glare as before. You decided to walk toward him so you two could figure out a plan. After all, your team was the up first. You placed your hand on his shoulder in an attempt to gain his attention.

"What do you want?" He grumbled, looking down at you.

"We're on the same team dumbass, didn't you hear All Might?"

"Whatever." said Bakugo as he made his way to the building. "I'm gonna teach that Deku a lesson he'll never forget."

Your shoulders slumped as he trotted off. You were disappointed, sure, but not surprised. You kept a steady pace behind him into the building, it was pointless trying to run after him. You didn't even know who this "Deku" was but Bakugo must hate him a lot. It's not normal for anyone to be that mad at someone. There was burning hatred in his eyes, something you had gotten used to seeing working for the villains. You just hoped he wouldn't do anything stupid to make your team lose.

The time spent before the match was silent. Both of you were staring away from each other, not bothering to talk. Besides, you were too busy thinking of your own plan since Bakugo wasn't too keen on sharing his. You had no idea what to expect. You didn't even know the quirks of the opposing team. On second thought, you remembered seeing Midoriya throw a punch and getting completely destroyed. Sure his quirk was extremely powerful, but how could someone with such little control over their quirk get into a school like UA?

"You." Bakugo commanded. "Stay up here and guard the bomb."

"I think I got the memo." You snorted. "Who's Deku?"

His face scrunched up again hearing his name. There was a long pause before he finally spoke again.

"What do you think of Midoriya's quirk?"

Didn't even answer my question

"From what I saw at the entrance exam, he seemed pretty powerful. I'm not too sure of how much he's capable of though. Doesn't he get beat easily?"

He let out a final tch and stormed off to god knows where. Typical Bakugo antics.

"The match will commence in 10 seconds." You heard All Might say through your earpiece, startling you.

You went to take cover behind one of the pillars, thinking it was best to sneak attack whoever came in through those doors. You weren't planning to possess someone or use your wings, so you were hoping fire was enough.

BOOM

What the hell-

The sound of unceasing explosions rang out from the rooms under. The floor beneath you began to rumble from the intensity of the shots. You swore you could even hear Bakugo yelling at someone between hits. Explosion after explosion you remained in your position, hoping that you would be getting some action before the match ended. Bakugo best better be doing a good job and not putting himself at a disadvantage. God knows what he was on down there."

"Bakugo! What's going on down there?" You whisper-yelled into your earpiece.

"I'M VERY ANGRY RIGHT NOW"

"Great! I didn't ask how you're feeling though, did I?!"

A faint trail of footsteps could be heard near the door. You were just hoping whoever it was didn't hear you. Peeking out from behind the pillar, you saw a girl with short, brown hair crawl behind one as well. She slowly made her way towards the bomb, frantically looking around before every step. You knew she could tell something was up. As she was around two meters away from the bomb, that's when you made your move. You lifted your right hand up allowing a wave of flames to flow out of them, encapturing the bomb in a ring of fire. The sudden attack caught her off guard, the girl stumbling back to get away.

This is gonna be fun...
