Falling.

My body wailed around in the pitch black abyss. I kept on falling further and further into darkness, picking up speed each passing second. I wasn't even able to focus on activating my quirk. Eventually, a circle below me opened, the sudden bright light causing me to squint. I fell straight through the hole, the warp closing as fast as it appeared. I shielded my face with my arms in an attempt to brace for impact. This did jack shit. I slammed directly onto the concrete floor, wincing as pain rushed through my whole body.

"(Y/n)! Hey are you ok?" A familiar voice called out to me from ahead. I slowly pushed my upper body up, looking to see who I landed with. A generous hand extended out to me, I grabbed it with a smile, lifting the rest of myself up.

"Yeah, thanks Kirishima. Where the hell are we?"

"I wish I could answer that. Bakugo and I landed here not too long ago. That portal dude was crazy."

My heart stopped when I heard his name. I frantically searched the room only to see him staring directly at me, his face remaining neutral. I had no idea he was even here.

"Aren't there supposed to be villai-"

BOOM

An explosion rand out behind us, catching Kirishima and I off guard. We instinctively turned to see Bakugo blasting a villain, sending him out the window. I could've sworn he was in front of us a second ago. Many more emerged from the dark corners of the halls from both directions. We were cornered.

"WHAT ARE YOU TWO IDIOTS DOING OVER THERE. GET OVER HERE AND FIGHT."

"Right! Sorry man!" Kirishima yelled back. We wasted no time rushing over to assist him. Kirishima activated his quirk and took position, his entire body turning into rock. I let out an annoyed sigh knowing i would have to activate my wings.

"Hey Kirishima, I need you to cover me for a few seconds."

"Umm ok. Don't take too long!" He said, shooting me a teethy smile and thumbs.

I nodded a thanks and rushed behind him. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, concentrating on getting my wings to form. Black bones slowly pierced out of my back. I grit my teeth, hissing and whimpering from the pain. I was doing my best not to cry or make to much noise, but it was nearly unbearable. Kirishima must've heard anyways cause he turned around to check up on me.

"Are you ok down th- woah what the hell?"

My eyes shone a deep red as my wings finally fully sprouted. I let out a sigh of relief as the pain finally subsided, my wings fluttered and came to life. At this point a decent amount of blood was rolling down my back.

"Don't worry bout' it, thanks for watching over me." I said as I leapt up, extending my slender wings.

They cut through the air, following the same back and forth motion. I hovered above everyone, scanning the room below me for unsuspecting villains. I flew down the hall to a crowd and landed crouched down in the middle. I stretched out my arms and allowed an immense amount of fire to run out of them. The power of the flames sent them flying back, leaving them with serious burns.

I got up and noticed two men. The bulky man on ground was twice my size and carried a massive machete, his muscles surpassed that of a normal human. The other had multiple limbs and was zig zagging on the ceiling at an alarming speed. Both were charging towards me. The villain lunged off the ceiling towards me. I swerved to the side and grabbed one of his arms, flinging him towards his partner. He ended up landing directly on the machete, piercing through his stomach like a human kabob. I sprung up and kicked the distracted man's back, using his massive figure to propel myself back to the ground. He fell on top of a window. His weight caused it to break sending him and the kabob toppling out of it.

My victory was short-lived by a heavy punch to the back of my head. I stumbled forward, my vision blurry from the impact. Before I could turn to see who it was they grabbed my horns, yanking me towards them and kneeing me in the back. I lift up my hand and aimed where I thought their head should be, spitting fire on their face. She screamed and loosened her grip on my horns. I spun around and slammed my knee into her stomach. She spat out, eyes popping out of her skull. I reached out for her again, gripping the back her hero costume with one hand and wrapping my arm in hers. I brought her down and relentlessly kneed her stomach, not caring that she was already too worn out to fight back.

I eventually dropped her aside, realizing I should probably check up on Bakugo and Kirishima. I walked through the hallway, realizing how far I actually went from them. I finally saw them in the distance strolling towards my way. I felt bad making them look for me. I waved at them and smiled, earning a relieved look from Kirishima.

"(Y/n), We've been looking for you! You should've stuck with the group." Kirishima said.

"Heheh sorry guys. I got a bit reckless and wanted to beat them up myself." I said, rubbing the back of my neck.

"Let's hurry up and go save the others. I'm worried about the guys with less offence abilities."

"If you guys wanna go, then go by yourself. I'm gonna kill that warp gate." Bakugo said.

"Come on Bakugo. You can't run off and be childish at a time like this." Kirishima reasoned.

"SHUT UP. That portal is the villain's way in and out of here. I'm gonna cut off their getaway route for when the time comes. It's not like we don't have a way to fight that fog."

Bakugo's eyes darted towards me. I stared back, confused. I opened my mouth to question it but was shut up by him sending an explosion behind me.

"THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?" I yelled, startled by the sudden attack.

"I'm saving your life you idiot. I owe you anyways." He huffed, gesturing to the man passed out beside me. My eyes widened at the sight of him. How did I not hear him coming?

"You saying you wouldn't have saved me if you didn't?" I teased.

"You're capable of saving yourself." He muttered.

"Are you saying you believe in your classmates? Thats thinking like a man Bakugo." Kirishima praised. (y/n) and I will join." I nodded at Bakugo in reassurance.

"Well shut up and let's go." He commanded, storming through the halls.

"I'll race you there." I giggled. I zoomed past him with my wings, spinning around to stick my tongue out.

"HEY GET THE HELL BACK HERE." He called out to me blasting his way over, leaving poor Kirishima alone.
