Eye of the Devil ( Bakugo x reader )

Bakugo and I were heaving like beasts after our intense race. Sadly he won, which was ridiculous considering my head start. He wouldn't let me hear the last of it. I challenged his conceded ass to a rematch when we got back to which he smugly accepted. Kirishima eventually caught up with us, yelling at us for ditching him. We met up with Todoroki shortly after, just making small talk of the whole ordeal.

We eventually entered the cleaning. I almost shat bricks when I saw Shigaraki with him. I knew Kurogiri wasn't one to cause a scene, if anything he would come for me when no one was watching. But I feared Shigarki would confront me in front of anyone, causing them to question where my loyalties lied. Or even worse, get me expelled from UA. All might was being forced in a warp by some massive purple thing. I didn't recall them using anything that ugly before. Ugly or not It had managed to hold All Might down which was impressive in itself. However, something else caught everyone's eyes and unfortunately Bakugo's. Midoriya was running across the damn field to All Might.

"What does Deku think he's fucking doing." He spat, sprinting across to intervene.

"Are you stupid?!" I called out to him, chasing after the idiot. "You can't barge into this alone!"

"GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY DEKU." He roared, blasting Kurogiri. He pinned him down by his armor, overjoyed to finally beat him. His face completely changed when he realized I was pinning him down with him. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE (y/n)?"

"STOPPING YOU FROM DOING SOMETHING STUPID."

"You!" Kurogiri croaked, realizing I was here.

"SHUT UP" I silenced him, engulfing his armor in flames.

Todoroki and Kirishima followed behind us. Todoroki froze the creature encapturing All Might, allowing him to break free.

"Kurogiri, how could you let those brats get the best of you." Shigaraki spoke.

"You got careless you dumb villain. It wasn't hard to figure you out. Only certain parts of you turn you into that warp gate. You use that mist as a distraction, that's why we missed. You're not immune to physical attacks if they're well aimed." Bakugo explained. Kurogiri attempted to shake loose but only received more explosions."DONT MOVE. You try anything funny and I'll blow your ass so bad they'll be piecing you up for weeks!" I chuckled from his agressiveness earning a glare from him.

"Nomu." Shigaraki commanded.

We all stared in shock as the creature broke free from Todoroki's ice, lifting it's injured body off the ground. The limbs that had fallen off were now regenerating as if they never disappeared.

"What is this?" All Might questioned, a frown forming on his face. "I thought you said his quirk was shock absorption."

"I never said that was his only quirk. He also has super regeneration. He's basically a highly efficient punching back that fights back. Now we need to free our method of escape. Get them Nomu."

The eyes of the crazed Nomu stared directly at us, getting ready to pounce. That's when something clicked in our heads. We were about to die. I spun to look at Bakugo but he was fixated on the Nomu. His eyes wide and mouth agape. The Nomu darted towards us, arm raised and eager to strike. Adrenaline and fear were pumping through my veins. I couldn't even process what was going on. My whole body was frozen in terror. I tensed up and shut my eyes, expecting his fist to collide with us. Instead, all we felt was a gush of wind blowing us away.

The second I opened my eyes I was on the ground. I spun around in worry to look for Bakugo only to realize he was on the ground beside me, still looking pretty out of it. My heart was still beating like crazy. Did All Might save us? I looked up to see the others staring down at us seemingly as confused as we were.
