When I Looked Into Your Eyes (Jughead X Archie) (Jarchie)

Jughead and Archie walked down the stairs as slowly as they could, both in no hurry to face Archie's dad. Once they finally got down, they slowly walked over to Mr. Andrews.

"Hey,.... um... Dad?" Archie called out

"Yeah?" His dad responded

"Can I ask you a question?" Archie asked

"You just did, but sure. Go ahead" he responded easily

Jughead stood next to Archie and said, "You might want to sit down for this."

Archie's dad sat down, confused as to what could be so shocking.

"We're -" Archie started to say but couldn't actually say it.

"You're.....? You're what?" Mr. Andrews asked, very confused

"We're dating." Jughead said, his face bright red and eyes shining, bright with tears.

"That's it?" Fred answered

Both teens stared at him in shock.

"That's it!?!?" Archie said, looking faint, "What do you mean that's it??"

"I saw the two of you sleeping together last night. Do you really think that I couldn't put two and two together?" Fred responded easily

"So you're not mad?" Jughead asked timidly

"Of course not! Why would I be mad?"

The two boys looked at each other, and then back to Fred, neither knowing what to say.

"Look, as long as the two of you don't have sex while I'm at home, it's fine. And if you do decide to take that step, use protection and clean up after you're done." He said easily

Both boys turned bright red at hearing this and nodded their heads in agreement. Fred smiled at them before going back to work.

"So.... what now?" Jughead's asked

"Well we have two options. We can either tell B and V or cuddle and watch a movie." Archie responded

"Can we watch a movie? I'm not entirely sure that I'm ready to face those two right now. After talking to your dad I kinda feel like I'm gonna pass out."

"Sure Juggie. Whatever you want," Archie responded sweetly

Jughead blushed a little at hearing the nickname and kissed Archie's cheek. Blushing, Archie chose a movie and put in their DVD player.

(Time skip to when the movie is somewhere between half way and over)

Jughead and Archie had fallen asleep cuddling on the couch. Archie's dad walked over to the two, smiling, and took a picture of the two. He loved Jughead like a son and had no idea how he got the ridiculous idea that being gay and dating his son could make him feel otherwise. He just wanted them to be happy.

(Time skip to after Fred left and the movie is almost over)

Jughead felt a familiar warmth when he started coming back to the world of the waking. He could smell Archie's cologne and hear the movie quietly running in the background. He opened his eyes to see Archie peacefully sleeping with his hair mussed up and his clothes wrinkled. Jughead smiled at the sight and kissed Archie awake.

"Morning sleepyhead." Jughead said

Archie glanced at the clock that read 12:09. "Night actually," Archie said with a smirk.

Jughead rolled his eyes and kissed him again. "We should go to bed."

Archie raised his eyebrows.

"Not like that you pervert! Oh my god," Jughead exclaimed, blushing

Archie laughed and grabbed Jughead's hand, leading him up to his room. When they got to Archie's bedroom, Archie ran an flopped onto his bed. Jughead rolled his eyes and walked in slowly. When he got close to the bed, he hesitated. Archie saw this hesitation and rolled his eyes. He sat up, grabbed Jughead's arm, and yanked his arm so that Jughead fell on top of him.

Jughead looked at him with shocked eyes. "Are you sure that you're okay with this?" He asked

Archie rolled his eyes again. "Of course I am. It's no different than before except now I don't have to feel guilty about cuddling you." He said, his cheeks turning a cute shade of pink

Jughead blushed and said, "Dork."

"Yeah, but I'm your dork." Archie responded

Jughead laughed, shaking his head. He slipped under the covers and snuggled into Archie's warm embrace. They both fell asleep peacefully, not worrying about any of the struggles to come. Coming out to Betty, Veronica, and Jughead's dad would be a challenge, and telling Kevin (who was practically Riverdale's biggest gossip) would be interesting, but they didn't care. No matter what happens, they'll always be there for each other.
