When I Looked Into Your Eyes (Jughead X Archie) (Jarchie)

Coming Out Pt. 3.5?

The two couples were sitting contently in silence when Ronnie suddenly spoke up.

"You know, you guys never actually told us how the two of you got together..."

Archie looked at Jughead "Do you want to tell this story? Or should I?"

Jughead shrugged, "Both? You know more than I do about this. But then again, you don't know all of what I was thinking when it happened."

"Makes sense." Archie replied "So here's what happened. I had this horrible nightmare about Jughead dying so I went to go find him. Naturally, the first place I looked was Pop's. I found him here, asleep on his computer, halfway through an essay of some kind. I paid for his food and then picked him and his stuff up and carried him home."

"Wait," Betty interrupted, "Carried as in......?"

"Bridal style," Archie answered, "Anyway, after putting his computer away, I put him on my bed. I didn't want to risk waking him up by blowing up the air mattress so I just decided to platonically sleep with him. Emphasis on the platonic."

Betty and Ronnie laughed.

"Okay then what?" Betty asked

"I woke up at like 4 in the morning to see that I wasn't still at Pop's, but rather, cuddling a shirtless Archie Andrews." Jughead said

"Platonic my ass" Ronnie snickered

Jughead rolled his eyes, "Anyway, my mind was going crazy. I always kinda knew that I was gay so it felt like I was talking advantage of Archie, but I just couldn't roll away. It was warm and I hadn't slept in an actual bed in weeks. That and there was barely any room on that bed. Anyway, he probably wouldn't have let me move if I wanted to. This one has a strong grip." He said, pointing at Archie

"Forsythe Pendleton Jones the Third" Ronnie growled, "Why on earth didn't you come to me??"

"I'm stubborn." Jughead said with a shrug. "Anywho, I believe it's Arch's turn to tell what happened."

Archie nodded. "I woke up to my stupid alarm going off. I was so scared that Jug would wake up but by some miracle, he didn't. I took it as an opportunity to study his beautiful features up close. I started to run my fingers through his hair- don't give me that look Veronica it made sense at the time."

Ronnie was looking at him suggestively with her eyebrows raised.

Archie rolled his eyes, "Anyway, I accidentally pulled too hard and woke him up. He started asking me why he was there and not at Pop's and I told him everything that happened."

"I, of course, was fine with it. Then we came here, had a sleepover, played 20 questions to find out who each other's crushes were, I kissed him, tried to run, he caught me and then kissed me, and then we went to bed. PLATONICALLY SPEAKING." Jughead finished

"Wow," Betty and Ronnie said.

"I agree. Wow," Kevin butted in

Archie and Jughead paled while Betty blushed. Ronnie of course was completely fine but everyone else was terrified.

"K-Kevin! H-how long were you sitting there?" Jughead stuttered out

"Long enough to know that Jarchie and Beronica have finally happened." Kevin said coolly

"Please don't tell anyone Kev!" Betty begged

"Do you guys seriously thing that I would? You guys are my friends! I would never out you!" Kevin exclaimed in disbelief

Everyone looked down sheepishly. They were friends. Why had they been so hesitant to tell their only gay friend that they were gay? Gossip or not, he wouldn't have done that to them.

"Sorry Kev," Jughead mumbled

"It's fine." Kevin responded easily, "I'm just happy that there are finally more gay couples here!"

Everyone laughed at his enthusiasm. After a few minutes of chatting, it became obvious that everyone was exhausted. They paid for their meals and drove home.

Once Jughead and Archie were home and ready for bed (THE KIND WHERE YOU SLEEP YOU DIRTY MINDED CRAZIES), they immediately fell into a peaceful slumber, content to be in each other's arms.
