Chapter 13-Giving

Narrator: Kath passed out again. All of them knew that this was not good for her to pass out twice in one day. After Brodey and Nathan covered up the cuts, they would find out why Kath was passing out.

Brodey: Her heart rate is okay.

Nathan: Maybe it's a blood thing? She may have a loss of blood.

Brodey:That's a very good idea. We should see have much blood she has.

Narrator: Brodey and Nathan tested Kath to see how much blood that she had and in a few minutes, they got the results.

Nathan: Kath has lost lots of blood and she needs more to live. Can we see if any if you guys have her blood type

Lannan: We need to save her.

Marcus: I would be anything to save her because I hurt her so bad.

Brodey: If you weren't here, Kath would be dead already.

Elliot: Let's get this thing started!

Narrator: After testing everyone's blood, including Kath's, they got the results. They were going to wake up Kath again after they read the results.

Brodey: Only one of us can.

Lannan:Who is it?

Brodey: It is Marcus!!

Marcus: Is it really?

Nathan: Yes!!

Elliot: Do you have all of the gear Brodey

Brodey: Yes I do.

Nathan: Do you think we should wake up Kath?

Brodey: We need to wake her up ASAP because there is a possibility she can get in a coma or even death

Lannan: We need wake her up right now before anything bad happens

Elliot: How are we going to wake her up, for the second time today.

Marcus: Let's just do the CPR again because it worked last time

Nathan: Alright.

Narrator: Marcus began right away. As he was doing that, they were all talking.

Lannan: I was thinking I could talk to Marcus after he wakes up Kath.

Brodey: Me too.

Elliot: Okay that's fine. Nathan maybe we can talk to Kath and tell her the news.

Nathan: Okay, sure.

Narrator: Kath wakes up after about only 45 seconds which is good. Lannan, Brodey and Marcus went to go and talk.

Lannan: I just wanted to see if you are actually okay with giving some of you blood to Kath.

Marcus: Yeah, I do. I feel like I need to. I'm the one the hurt her and I'm the only one who can help her.

Brodey: Are you a little scared?

Marcus: Only a little. I would do anything to save Kath. It's just going to be a little weird because I broke up with her. Now I feel so lost without her. I wish I never broke up with her. I want her back, but I don't think she will

Lannan: It's okay bro. I can see what I can do.

Marcus: Thanks bro

Lannan: No problem

Narrator: While Brodey, Lannan and Marcus were talking, Elliot and Nathan tried talking to Kath.

Elliot: Kath, are you okay?

Kath: I feel better than I did before. I'm still super dizzy and can't really think straight. I have a really bad headache though. There's less pain throughout the rest of my body though.

Elliot: Here's some pain killers for your head.

Kath: Okay, thanks.

Nathan: We need to tell you something but you may not like it.

Kath: Okay. What is it?

Elliot: The only way we can save your life and stop ALL the pain and passing out is that Marcus needs to give you some of his blood. He is the only one who can.

Nathan: We wanted to ask if you were okay with that.

Kath: Yeah I'm fine with it. He can do what he wants.

Elliot: Okay good. We wanted to ask because you may not want him to after he hurt you.

Kath: I want to live. He can do what he wants to me. I don't really care anymore.

Nathan: Kath, you should care. It's basically another chance to live.

Kath: I don't need it

Narrator: Nathan and Elliot went over to Marcus, Lannan and Brodey to tell them what Kath said.

Elliot: She said that she doesn't really care what you do to her. She also said she doesn't really care anymore and she doesn't need this chance to live.

Marcus: I really messed up this time. I'm still going to do it. I want her to live, even if we can't be together.

Lannan: That's so nice of you to save her life. Later she will be so thankful.

Brodey: It's okay Marcus. Don't be upset with yourself. We can go for a few beers later.

Marcus: Alright cool.
